Trump is an idiot:

At a hurricane briefing on Wednesday, President Donald Trump showed an outdated forecast for Hurricane Dorian which coincidentally corresponds with an incorrect prediction that he had made several days before.

After forecasters predicted Dorian would make a northward turn over the weekend, Trump insisted three times on Sunday that the hurricane would hit Alabama (and Mar-a-Lago).
Trump appears to show Sharpie-altered hurricane map

Kaitlan Collins:
President Trump says he doesn’t know about the hurricane map being altered by a Sharpie. He also insisted there are “other, better maps” that show Alabama was in the area that could be affected by Hurricane Dorian, though the weather service said that’s not true.

obsession is a bad trait to develop and have.
not the first time a president has said or done something
incorrect won't be the last.

*yawn*

So is lying to the American people that a hurricane hit in alabama when it didn't.

lol

Particularly this President who seems to do it on a daily basis.

no worse than any other president i have seen.
it is what happens when you have too much information thrown at you on a consistent basis every hour.
this really isn't even thread worthy.

Hit Alabama? From the Eastern seaboard coasts? :lamo

He probably wants to cut blackface Alabama Governor Kay Ivey in on some FEMA Disaster funds.

Early on, one of the possible trajectories for the storm did take it across Florida into the Gulf and Alabama would have been affected.

Could Hurricane Dorian make it into the Gulf? - al.com

He may have held onto his hunch about that longer than most, but honestly, that's the worst thing you guys can come up with to gig him on today? The amount of bandwidth, air time, and news copy that has been devoted to this single story is ludicrous. TDS really does have no reasonable limits.

I would expect the leader of our country to actually be current in press briefings... But keep supporting his lies and dementia.

Yeah, Trump in his spare time drew up another chart.. You guys are amazing - and not in a good way.

Well he is mad at Fox News, so maybe he does have more free time than usual.

That possible trajectory was posted three days ago!! Had the storm not behaved as predicted later, and they very often don't as this one really hasn't--remember they first predicted it would hit Puerto Rico, and then that Florida would take a direct hit. Had the storm not turned as they later predicted and the President was not prepared for that, you would be condemning him for that.

The depths of TDS really has no limits does it.

Yes, he appears to have had a map altered.

Did Trump Doctor a Hurricane Map With Sharpie to Prove His False Prediction That Dorian Could Hit Alabama?

I mean you can deny the Trump took out an outdated map for no reason and it clearly has been altered but come on, really?

Trump clearly got butthurt people are calling him out about his claim the hurricane was going to hit Alabama and he's not letting it go.

And you submit the storm was projected to stop while it was over central Florida? Looks to me that if it continued on the projected track it would hit Alabama

Why are you defending someone taking out an altered version of an outdated forecast?

We all know the facts: Trump claimed Alabama would have gotten hit, the national weather service debunked it, and now he's trying damage control.

He is a stable genius after all.

He knows the weather better than the experts and made the map better and more genius

According to the national weather service it would not have impacted Alabama at all.

Nope. That's a year old map of Hurricane Florence posted by a site that frequently peddles in fake news b/c Alabama sucks.

Also Presidents have access to the latest updates.

Yes, we understand why some people would flounder with so much information being thrown at them. Especially people who aren't even able to remember the existence of Cat-5 Hurricanes and have to learn about them all over again every year.

The thing is ... people like that shouldn't be president. They should be in a protected environment where others look out for their interests. Not in charge of a nation.

Right now we are laughing at Trump because the map was altered with a sharpie pen, to fit the presidents claim. A rather obvious alteration (assuming it was not photo shopped)

Now if Trump did it to Troll, I will still laugh at Trump, the US and his supporters.

And you think those experts were projecting that the storm would stop dead in central Florida? Rather than continue on it's projected track to the northwest where Georgia and ALABAMA lay in wait? Seriously?

Or maybe it was altered to extend the storm's track to clarify Trump's assertion that Alabama was a potential victim? Any chance of that? I hate to say it but a fair percentage of Americans probably could find Alabama on a map.

Why do you consider a forecast three days ago to be outdated? Or to allow for the possibility that the storm would not turn as they predicted since it hasn't behaved at any time as they have predicted?
