Trump announces on Truth Social that the U.S. has successfully attacked Iran

Yet you give Israeli soldiers a pass for gunning down civilians who weren’t any threat.

Condemned so much the Israeli government leaders who supported those rioters are still in his cabinet.

Post153 with you quoted.
The al Jazeera video won't play.

In the other video, I zoomed in as far as possible and couldn't find the shooter. I understand an assumption that the shooter is an Israeli soldier. If so, he should be court-martialed and executed. But there is no reason to believe that he is typical of the IDF.

Some time after the man is shot, and after the white flag is gone, someone is seen at the opposite end of the street from which the first shooting came, and that person fires some shots. The image is so poor that the clothes on this person cannot be distinguished.

I make the assumption that the event is not staged for a camera. I also assume that the group with the white flag aren't Palestinians who oppose Hamas or being shot for other "crimes", as in these two articles

The IDF isn't doing that. That means the IDF de facto allows such shootings.

No, it doesn't mean that. Has the individual who did the shooting been identified?

It would be pretty easy to identify in any unit in the area and conduct an investigation. The Israelis have instead routinely given shootings of Palestinian civilians passes.

I agree with the laws of armed conflict, which correctly consider the force that militarizes a civilian position responsible for securing civilian personnel and cultural heritage in that position and any damage to the same that results, and such correctly consider those who engage in perfidy responsible for the results.

The reason why the Laws of Armed Conflict so strongly condemn perfidy like that is because it strips protection from the groups who are being mimicked. You aren't supposed to use ambulances to move soldiers and weapons because that forces the opposition to start shooting ambulances. You aren't supposed to hide as civilians because that forces the opposition to start shooting people who present as civilians. You aren't supposed to fake surrenders in order to initiate an ambush because that forces them to start shooting people who are presenting with an intent to surrender.

The Laws of Armed Conflict correctly consider the force that commits perfidy responsible for the resulting stripping of protections from the civilians they mimic.

This isn't about me "giving Israeli soldiers a pass". This is about you refusing to acknowledge HAMAS' actual war crimes, and attempting to blame Israel for them instead, because you apparently don't know the relevant law and haven't thought through the actual scenario in question.

Yes, he did not deliberately destroy his own coalition government over it.

Netanyahu staying out of prison is more important than getting people who think Israeli soldiers should rape detainees out of office.

That may be going a bit far. How often does it happen (source)?

Gonna just ignore that you were blaming HAMAS' war crimes on the IDF, huh?

Got it. Demand accountability for one side, but not the other, while accusing others of doing the same thing.

Unless you happen to be a particularly (willing to die for it) pacifist, in the IDFs shoes, you'd be doing the exact same thing. Ask me how I know.

We do what needs to be done. Israel did all the work. We dropped the bomb that finished the job. A job well done. This is one for the history books.
Oh, you think this is over? Yeah it is one for the history books, trump drops bombs on Iran in an act of war.

Do you have a clue how many times attacks have been ordered by previous presidents from both parties?
Of course it is not over. The terror organizations will continue the reign of terror. We have so called local protestors burning and looting right here in this country. Even setting people on fire. We will always have to fight evil. I understand this.

No,I have no idea, you have a number? Local, all over the country local? You have video or picture proof or an article from a news source?

Israeli soldiers shooting civilians is not “Hamas’s war crime”.

Last time I looked it up it was over 100 times. If you want to know as well you can look it up. I don't need to. I know it is common practice.

How many Gazan children does Israel have to kill to make it even? 5K? 10K? Give me a number of what you consider justified retribution.

Trump Republicans don't want you to read this. Their only weapon is their stupidity!

The Framers placed the President in command of America's military. They never imagined that Americans would be foolish enough to elect a man like Trump to the Presidency.
NBC reports, "Several members of Congress in both parties Saturday questioned the legality of President Donald Trump’s move to launch military strikes on Iran.."

Like the loyal lapdogs they are, Republicans in Congress fell in line with Trump.
Under Trump's leadership, the United States committed a war of aggression based on Trump's assumption of what Iran may do!

Trump assumed that Iran would make a nuclear bomb. "Iran was very close to having one,” Trump said.

Worse, he then assumed Iran would use the nuclear bomb.

That was not likely. Iran has had the capability to make a nuke for years, and she has not. Why? It is painfully obvious to everyone not named Trump. Iran's bitter enemy has between 75 to 200 nuclear weapons.

Iran didn't want to make herself a target. This simple concept flew right over Trump's head.

Several nations possess nuclear weapons, including Russia. Only one nation has ever used a nuclear weapon -- the United States.

Trump did not want to be confused with facts. So, he attacked Iran. Republicans in the Trump administration cheered the glorious leader. Trump is surrounded by admirers and the media is doing its part.

So, our country committed military aggression against a weakened foe, and the media is glorifying the event by giving its listeners every gritty detail!

This is how the Trump administration described its attack on Iran.

"The target was obliterated."

Axios reports, "Iran launched multiple missiles against an American military base in Qatar on Monday in retaliation for the U.S. strike on its nuclear facilities this weekend."

This is how the Trump administration described the Iranian attack on an American base, and the media cooperated fully.

"The ballistic missiles missed or were intercepted. No one was killed. No one was hurt. There was no damage. It was symbolic attack, and now Iran is through. Iran will not attack Americans again."

This could all be true, but, after so many lies and fantasies over the past ten years from Trump, Americans are likely to greet this assessment with a good deal of skepticism.

In accordance with Trump's orders, the United States attacked Iran, and Trump would have us believe that Iran will accept one and done.

Would we? Would any nation?

Or is this wishful thinking on Trump's part? Trump has a lot at stake here -- like his Presidency. Americans are not in the mood for another Middle East war. We have had our fill with Iraq and Afghanistan -- two of our longest wars.

NBC reports, "Hailing the American strikes on Iran as a success, President Donald Trump said late Saturday that the Islamic Republic’s key nuclear sites were “completely and fully obliterated.”

"But despite his bullish claims, the extent of the damage to the deeply buried facility at Fordo, as well as sites at Isfahan and Natanz, is unclear and almost 400 kilograms, or 880 pounds, of uranium enriched to 60% are publicly unaccounted for. Power plants require the radioactive metal to be enriched to only 3%-5%, whereas 90% is required to build a nuclear warhead.

"Jeffrey Lewis, an American expert in nuclear nonproliferation and a professor at the California-based James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, said on X that he was “unimpressed” by both the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran because they “failed to target significant elements of Iran’s nuclear materials and production infrastructure.”

"Iran’s highly enriched uranium “was largely stored in underground tunnels” near the Isfahan site, he said. But despite extensive American and Israeli attacks on the facility, he said, “there does not seem to have been any effort to destroy these tunnels or the material that was in them.”
