I was looking through some of my Humpty bookmarks and came across this one.

Link.

He vowed during the election to halt the program, which charges most drivers $9 to enter Manhattan below 60th Street, when he entered office. In an interview with The New York Post this month, he characterized the toll as being “destructive” to New York.

“If I decide to do it, I will be able to kill it off in Washington through the Department of Transportation,” Mr. Trump said in the interview.

Did he 'decide to do it' Team Manhattan, or was this some more of his snake oil sold to get elected?

"LONG LIVE THE KING," but Humpty......?????.........nah.

All I can say is I will never get E-ZPass for any reason. They've had that crap on the Garden State Parkway for 25 years and I've never been tempted. It's just another way for Big Brother to keep track of you.

You don't need E-Z Pass for 'Big Brother' to track you down. Two weeks after we drove thru Boston on the Interstate, we received a bill from Massachusetts Transit - $2.15 for a toll. We don't have E-Z Pass on our mainland car. Big Brother is replacing human-manned toll booths with cameras connected to computer systems that have data bases containing every state's license plates.
However, it looks like that license plate data base ain't too accurate.
A couple days after we got the bill from Massachusetts, we received one from Texas for unpaid tolls. We ain't been in Texas for at least 10 years and the license plate was a Florida one - a plate on a car that hasn't been off our island since 2014. The tolls were from the Houston area, nine round-trips to the local airport, dating from December 2024 to July 2025.

SO, could DJT's Dept of Transportation place cameras along the highways into Manhattan in order to collect those tolls?

If you carry a phone you're broadcasting your location. Your PC broadcasts your location. I leave my phone home as much as possible.

I know big brother is watching, but I don't have to make it easy.

The one nice thing about all this tracking is the government is lazy and has become confident in it.

So if you think they might be looking for you just toss your phone in the back seat of a convertible or whatever and POOF! you disappear!
