Ridiculous hyperbole. That's not what this is about. This is about the whole principle of protecting the habitats of endangered species, not a dozen salamanders.

You lot won't be satisfied until the only animals left are domestic and living in pens.
How's that for reducing a large issue to an exaggerated simplicity?
Progress has never been held up or halted because an isolated species of an insignificant creature was in the way?
My principle is consistent. Nature displaces or wipes out species all the time, sometimes the mechanism of that is another species. Adapt or die. Humans are a natural part of a natural world.
