WASHINGTON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - The Trump administration plans to slash terrorism prevention funding for New York City, according to a grant notice posted just days after a gunman killed four people inside a Manhattan skyscraper.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency said in a grant notice posted on Friday that the United States' largest city would receive $64 million less this year from its urban area security fund.

It's getting to the point that blue states should discuss withholding funding to the federal government. The idea that Trump's admin and the Federal Government is taking money from liberal wealthier states and witholding that money to "punish" them needs to be challenged.

It would set up a large scale constitutional crisis. Which, frankly, may very well be necessary at some point to prevent a complete slide into dictatorship.

They're already looking to explicitly rig the future elections by ignoring the constitution's requirement for census and by open super-gerrymandering. If shit like that doesn't work for them, it increasingly looks like Trump will try to hold onto power.
