If you read the breadth of this article, and what the child abusing Trump Admin is doing to the Agriculture department, which is a huge department, makes it clear that Trump is pure evil. Let us not forget that it was this department that figured out how to mass produce penicillin and saved many American lives during WWII. This department is vital to US national interest and security (and our health, and does a lot of things, too many to mention here.)
And, in a related article, further down, Trump is telling scientists they have to move to Kansas, within next few days, or quit. Could you and your family sell your house, pack up and move to some state you dont want to live in in the next few weeks?
Why? He just want's them to quit, and doesn't want to be seen firing scientists.
Note that 600 million people in the world depend mainly rice for nutrition.

Agriculture Department buries studies showing dangers of climate change - POLITICO
The studies range from a groundbreaking discovery that rice loses vitamins in a carbon-rich environment — a potentially serious health concern for the 600 million people world-wide whose diet consists mostly of rice — to a finding that climate change could exacerbate allergy seasons to a warning to farmers about the reduction in quality of grasses important for raising cattle.
“There’s a sense that you should watch what you say,” said Ricardo Salvador, director of the food and environment program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. “It’s going to result in some pretty big gaps in practical knowledge. … it will take years to undo the damage.”
In each of his budgets, Trump has proposed deep cuts to agricultural research, requests that ignore a broad, bipartisan coalition urging more funding for such science as China and other competitors accelerate their spending. Congress has so far kept funding mostly flat.

The Agriculture Department is offering employees a rare choice: accept a forced transfer to a post 1,000 miles away or be fired.
The Trump administration’s plan to move two agencies from the District to the Kansas City area includes a document with two blank boxes on it, sent to employees on June 13. Check one, it instructs: Accept the transfer by July 15 or “be separated by adverse action procedures.”
That means getting fired, with an opportunity to appeal the dismissal through what could be an expensive process. Getting fired could also make it more difficult to find another federal job in an area where the government dominates.
