"And I said to my people, slow the testing down please!"

Or in this case, let's not release those jobs numbers every month, m'kay?

Trump's unqualified pick for head of the BLS is suggesting a pause in the release of jobs numbers. After all, it may take some time for him to really cook the books.

Well duh, the whole point is to hide statistics and only put out numbers that are beneficial to Trump. This is part of their doublespeak. You can't expect dirty ass commies to be honest.

What a shit show. Total clown.

Seems like a good show to me, and it is good news we'll never see a bad jobs report again, but it is imperative Trump remains president for the foreseeable future.

MAGA.

Yeah that won’t totally exacerbate the coming recession!

Is anyone surprised. Assuming the American Republic survives, historians and scientisst will view this time period with disgust.

Of course he will "pause" the numbers as he " looks at the process". Same thing that happened with DHS. Don't like the numbers then bury them.

Yep. This is all about narrative control like you often find in countries with tin horn authoritarians who want to control narratives. If we suddenly get rosy reports on everything, it will be time to not trust government data.

Big surprise. He chose a Project 2025 member.

Outsider with no knowledge of the process and no relevant education or experience claims with no evidence there are significant problems requiring this solution.
Trump continues to be an egotistical economic moron

What recession? They'll stop reporting GDP numbers too! Cant have a recession without two quarters of negative GDP!

Problem solved!
