What a mature business leader would do, what I would do, what Joe Biden would do, is get on the phone and eat a little crow and be really nice and by the end of the call everything would be fixed and the Hyundai CEO invited over for dinner and to go see a baseball game.

But not Trump. That's not how he operates. He'll just impose more tariffs.

"South Korea has temporarily paused work on at least 22 projects—and says it could stay that way."

How come workers without papers at raided Hyundai plant appear to be only Koreans? Hyundai discriminates against workers without papers of other nationalities? Hyundai should be hit with unfair hiring practices!

Hyundai usually hires people for these projects in Korea, and then ship them to places were factories are built all over the world.

It's a Korean company who shipped over workers from Korea to help in a US plant.
It's not exactly rocket science to see why they chose Koreans.

I'm a complete idiot and even I can work this one out.
Bloody hell.

Damned South Korean Karens!

How dare they actually have a business plan and hire people in their home country and send them to help in overseas factories.

Those sneaky bastards!
I worked for a US company that operated in 22 countries. They sent people (including me) all over the world for startups.

Nothing new.

If Trump wants foreign corporations to invest in the US he's doing it wrong.

I didn't vote for the person who is doing things that look like they are designed to destroy our economy on purpose.

My dad worked for Vauxhall from starting as an apprentice and finishing in upper management and went to many factories all over.
Japan mostly but all over Europe as well.

It's standard practice.

Trump doesn't have a coherent strategy other than trying too bully other countries into doing what he wants.
Trump's a lousy bully. He raised tariffs to 50% on Brazil for prosecuting his buddy Bolsonaro. Brazil flipped Trump the bird and sentenced Jair to 27 years.
