Trumpy’s various legal quagmires are beginning to overlap.
- Opening arguments for his first criminal trial are set to begin Monday at 9:30 a.m.
- A hearing over the bond in his civil fraud case is set to be held just down the street at 10 a.m.
- Down the street, at 10 a.m. on Monday, Judge Arthur Engoron will hear arguments over Trump's bond in his civil fraud trial after New York Attorney General Letitia James asked for the judge to reject the $175 million bond posted by Knight Specialty Insurance Company and declare the bond to be "without effect," James wrote in a memo filed Friday. James argued that the company that posted the bond doesn't meet the "requirements of trustworthiness and competence" required for insurers doing this type of business. She added that the insurance group is not licensed to conduct new business in New York and has never before written a surety bond in the state.

Such a busy little criminal trumpy is. He routinely suggests that none of this should be ‘allowed’ because the doofus is running for president. Which we can only interpret as his political ambitions should override our system of justice. I strongly suggest the opposite is true.
