A win for all Americans

And the extra $6,000 dollars standard deduction for senior is most appreciated Mr President

---------

  • The House narrowly approved the measure after overnight wrangling by GOP leadership to win over holdouts.
  • Beyond tax relief and healthcare cuts, the bill increases defense spending and adds a historic $150 billion to fund border security and mass deportations.
WASHINGTON — After an overnight session and hours of floor debate, the House voted Thursday to approve the “Big Beautiful Bill” — giving final congressional approval to a landmark achievement for President Trump after he wrangled Republican lawmakers to pass the most expensive legislation in history by the Fourth of July.

I’m not over 65.
I guess it’s not a win for all Americans.
Just those rich and over 65.
Not that deduction. Oh well, there are winners and losers.

Live long enough and you too can see some benefits. Also note that the $6000 deduction was in lieu of the no tax on social security that never materialized.

It extends the tax cuts from Trumps first term you have been enjoying. And remember, the Democrats wanted to let them expire so you paid higher taxes.
Yes, please do remember. The wealthy have won again.

At your expense.

****ing Dems and their old dying politicians who can't let their ego go and just ****ing resign.

I get it would've passed by one vote, but the Dems suck. Too old and ego filled to **** off and let better and younger people run the party.

Link to Dems wanting them to expire.
I'm surprised by this request. But I'll oblige once in a while

Biden vows to let Trump-era tax cuts expire next year, meaning higher rates for many

"President Biden vowed to let massive components of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act expire next year if he wins re-election, meaning that millions of Americans could soon face steeper tax bills."

Ahhhh! I feel so much better now that we're going to kick 17 million people off their health insurance coverage. Nothing says Make America Great Again by beating up on the poor and sick.
Baloney. The only ones getting kicked of Medicaid are illegal immigrants that the taxpayers should not be funding, and able-bodied young adult couch potatoes who should get off their asses as go to work.

We will now be able to read the bill in full and make our own evaluations.

I, for one, am interested in the section(s) that address farm policy.

Regards, stay safe 'n well . . . informed.

Which means Medicaid should stay solvent for longer.

Otherwise not a fan of this bill. No DoD cuts, no reversion to the 39% bracket for those making over $2 million like weenie Lindsey Graham asked for, no serious attempt to reign in our deficits, blah, blah, blah.

Of course I'll take it over anything that would have been proposed by Harris or any other liberal.
