Right. Because Nunes was the FBI agent conspiring to overthrow a presidential election.
You people have shredded anything you ever might have had regarding integrity and credibility.
No, the dupes are anyone and everyone who treated and continue to treat the dossier ( Hillary and DNC funded opposition research ) as Gospel
Those who STILL think the dossier was worthy of a massive FBI investigation and FISA warrants that led to the unmasking and covert surveillance of the opposition candidate are putting party over Country
Theyre desperate. They've put so much time and energy propping up the Russian collusion false narrative and now its crumbling before their eyes
Agreed, completely.
And Nunes is worst than a joke. He's is subterfuge. He's working with the President.
January and February are going to be interesting months. I bet the FBI takes yuuuge hits. McCabe goes before the committee on the 19th but it's a closed hearing.
Nunes was cleared of of all charges Chomsky in the ethics committee and was said the allegations against him brought by the Democrats were found to be based in partisan politics.
Here is what's going down.
It was the Democrats that originally wanted the FBI investigated for wrong doing of Comey for the way he re-opened the Clinton email case after it was discovered that Huma Abedin had downloaded thousands of emails onto her husbands computer Anthony Weiner, the same computer that Weiner used in sexting underage girls. The FBI reopened the case because of the volume of emails that were discovered on the computer. The Democratic party felt this caused Clinton to lose the election. They asked the Inspector General to investigate.
Until recently after months of fighting with the FBI and DOJ, ranking Republicans on the Judiciary Committee, Intelligence Committee etc. finally got some documents that proved Comey, McCabe, Strzok had watered down wording in their report to keep Clinton from facing charges, and decided to do so before Clinton, Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin and a dozen other witnesses had even been interviewed. The documents also showed that Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin were allowed to destroy their computers in part of the deal as they could incriminate them. I am not making this **** up there are documents on record to validate this ****.
All this new found evidence went directly to the Inspector General. He has been investigating the actions of the FBI over the Clinton email scandal for wrongdoing first from Democrats months before Trump was inaugurated and later in the past couple of months by Republicans after they were able to acquired a few documents from the FBI and DOJ but for the most part they have been stonewalled.
Look the same names that were involved in the Clinton investigation are the same players that started the investigation of the Trump campaign and Transition Team.
Rosenstein did nothing but stand up for Mueller as being above reproach in front of the Judiciary Committee. Mueller answers to him. Rosenstein does no see Mueller as doing anything wrong. Mueller isn't going anywhere. Today Sessions said if there is any proof that Mueller's investigation is bias he will be removed and a new special counsel will be appointed.
Yet since these text messages by Strzok became public, the Democrats are calling fowl.
I think regardless of what your political leanings, this kind of **** that is going on should cause anyone to shudder. Sunlight is needed, full disclosure is needed and exposed.
Personally I see evidence of the politicization of the FBI and DOJ under the Obama administration. Let the chips fall where they may but let us we the people get the truth and I think you want truth too.
He had his faults, but he never got tangled up with the Clintons.
There was only one thing ethics investigated Nunes on, it was improper release of classified information that most of us weren't even aware was a potential issue, it's irrelevant.Nunes was cleared of of all charges Chomsky in the ethics committee and was said the allegations against him brought by the Democrats were found to be based in partisan politics.
The only truth is that Republicans are attacking the FBI/DOJ for political reasons. That's un-American to a degree I never thought Republicans would stoop to, but this has been a year of new lows set by Repblicans's hasn't it? People like Nunes, for all their misdeeds, seem like little angles in comparison to the depravity going on now.Let the chips fall where they may but let us we the people get the truth and I think you want truth too.

The other 20 things Nunes did to demonstrate he is "worse than a joke", and willing to engage in political subterfuge, are all matters of fact and of the record. Chomsky is correct, you're trying subterfuge just like Nunes apparently.

They're desperate to stop the Russia/collusion investigation ... Mueller has to go and the DoJ/FBI reset to focus on Democrats rather than Trump.
btw ... FBI Director Christopher Wray, nominated by Trump, was a partner in the law firm of King and Spalding. King and Spalding has been involved in numerous energy deals with Russia's state-owned oil/gas companies Rosneft and Gazprom. Wray scrubbed his King and Spalding webpage of all mentions of Russia in January 2017

Gowdy is a party over country slime kind of guy. In this instance he is taking part of the lead to further Russia's destruction of America by participating in what is likely soon to be seen as an organized effort to discredit the FBI, Mueller and the like.
At the present Gowdy is apparently carrying the water for the Putin/Trump team. Their plan is to continue to rip the Constitution to shreds and pee on the remnants of the Republic. While attacking the integrity of FBI they will soon overtly attempt to shut down the Russian investigation and thus free Trump to continue ravaging the United States in ways most beneficial to Putin, the oligarchs of Russian and the American oligarchs.
Putin and the oligarchs are severely harmed by the Magnitsky Act. They want it neutered or abolished.
Trump is their useful idiot and certainly their best hope. Russia has invested heavily in the GOP. Trump is Russia's slam dunk to pull it all together. With the FBI, America's intelligence agencies and the 4th Estate discredited and out of the way the investigations will quickly die. Trump will free to rape the nation and much of the world. Putin and the oligarchs will enjoy enormous favoritism and advantage.
Gowdy is a dupe, one in a cabal of partisan fools, an ideologue, enabling a small part of a larger puzzle to come together.
You are repeating yourself.I think you have your facts a bit twisted there.
Nunes was cleared of wrong doing by the charges brought forth by Adam Schiff and other Democrats on the Intelligence Committee.
“The biggest mistake was not consulting with the Democrats,” said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who has previously criticized Nunes’s actions, and who applauded his decision to step down. “You have to do that if you’re going to be successful around here, especially on national security issues.”
But in light of these text messages and other info that has been revealed, that Congress was left in the dark for months over, it puts a cloud over Mueller because Strzok and the FBI atty who worked under McCabe both joined Muellers team and the level of partisan/hatred revealed in those texts should cause anyone to pause.
New recruits are the only thing that can save the FBI at this point. It used to be one of the nations uncorruptable gems until Obama and the Clinton's got hold of it and turned it into a third world bunch of Brown Shirts.
Whatever you say Mach. You surely know everything and are such a non-partisan fair minded thinker regard to anything Trump. You are repeating yourself.
You haven't refuted the facts that Nunes improperly coordinated with the white house while leading the house investigation that includes the white house, ran cover for Trump and his boys, mislead everyone about who gave him the info (the white house), and then feigned like he had to go BACK to the white house to "brief" them (on the information they gave him).
He's a "stooge".

Nunes later apologized for his behavior.
I didn't once mention the ethics investigation about the classified release, that was likely just a way to force nunes to temporarily give up the leadership that he abused.
There is no cloud over the FBI other than what Trump/Fox and friends are trying to put there to distract and damage the investigation. Around 70% of the population knows Trump is a turd and yells at the TV about politics. Good lord, that's as American as Apple Pie these days.
Seems to me I remember the FBI going through some other very rough times in the past. We have to face the facts. No matter who is president, US agencies can become very corrupt, especially after eight years. I fear that we will be getting rid of Obama's deep state henchmen and replacing them with Trump's deep state henchmen. With the current state of the country being uber partisan this seems to be the new status quo.
So you're saying Nunes acted the way you'd want a democrat to act while leading a bipartisan investigation into a democratic white house? Of course you aren't, you're just flipping me off.Whatever you say Mach. You surely know everything and are such a non-partisan fair minded thinker regard to anything Trump.
