No...he did not and that is precisely why there can be no common ground in this case. He didnt go kill a kid in cold blood...he made stupid decisions and then got his ass in way over his head and panicked. Thats not 'cold blooded murder' and there is absolutely ZERO indication of that. Your kind of mindless rhetoric is the same **** that fans the flames of vigilantism. Negligent...and definitely responsible for the incident. In cold blood? Geeeeezus...put the over the top rhetoric machine in a drawer and give it a rest.I don't understand why some people are trying so desperately to make this justifiable. The bottom line is that this guy called 911 and was instructed to leave the kid alone. He went against that and killed an unarmed man in cold blood. No so-called burglary tools or trace amounts of marijuana justifies killing an unarmed person. The kid was trying to get away from him and according to one eyewitness was yelling for help. It is what it is and Zimmerman should face the consequences of his actions.

Zimmerman if he ever goes to trila will NEVER get a fair one. Even the prezzzz shaded the incident saying if he had criminal he would look like the dead criminal. All media is against the victim(Zimmerman). Get off it you people and go back to your drug infested home full of illegal weapons.
Give me a break and get over yourself. None of your bull**** changes the fact that this kid would still be alive if Zimmerman had listened to the 911 operator and left the kid alone. Zimmerman should face the consequences of his actions.
According to Zimmerman, he never found Martin when he went looking for him, which is on his 911 call, but that Martin accosted him as he was walking back to his car. The latter is backed up by witness' statements.
And yet he was still instructed to leave the kid alone.
Cite for that claim witnesses saw Martin accost Zimmerman on Zs way back to Zs truck, please.According to Zimmerman, he never found Martin when he went looking for him, which is on his 911 call, but that Martin accosted him as he was walking back to his car. :lamoHe looked for him, didn't find him, and walked back to his car. Sounds to me like he did leave him alone.
Waxing autobiographical, are we?This entire episode is starting to sound like a conspiracy theory. If you keep repeating the same thing over and over....

See that bull**** excuse is just that. You could also easily say that if the kid went straight home, he would be alive as well.
The fact is up until right after Zimmerman got out of the car, everything that Zimmerman had done was LEGAL and did not cause the death of that kid. What happened afterwords we don't know all the facts as to whom to place the guilt to.
Looks like Trayvon and Rodney King were both cut from the same cloth. Top notch individuals, those two. American's finest, no doubt.
Not sure that matters much. No matter his faults, and it is easy to talk ill of someone dead, the fact remains Zimmerman was told to leave Trayvon alone. Zimmerman didn't.
I see you've hung him from the nearest tree already.

Nope. But we do know this. We can't and shouldn't pretend like we don't. He was told to leave him alone and he didn't.
No. He was not:
Multiple suspensions paint complicated portrait of Trayvon Martin - Florida - MiamiHerald.com
How do you expect to be taken seriously if you cite rags which can't even get the article they cite right? Trayvon WAS NOT suspended because of "tools" - i.e. a screwdriver - he was suspended for GRAFFITI. This isn't a lie - it's what the article the Daily Mail references actually says.
Here is what the article the Daily Mail sources then states:
Please stop being so blatantly dishonest?
Hahaha. You're so ridiculous it's funny. No way to smoke dope? You mean weed? Because of odors? I guess you expect us to believe kids nowadays haven't heard of body spray? Good luck smelling weed through one spray of any local 3 dollar deodorant.
Exactly, Simon. Sam, please cite your assertion that witnesses saw Martin accost Zimmerman as he was walking back to his car.
If there's evidence like that out there, it's game-set-match and Zimmerman's off the hook.
But I don't believe you.
I don't think there's much doubt or disagreement that, if Zimmerman had only stayed in his car, none of this would have happened. But it is not against the law to get out of one's car. If there is nothing to contradict Zimmerman's statement that Martin attacked him from behind, the state should not be prosecuting him for any degree of manslaughter or murder. Our court system doesn't roll that way.
As to everyone besmirching Martin, he was a 17-year-old kid. Seventeen-year-olds do ****. Trying to portray him as some kind of criminal is just wrong. There is absolutely no-nada-zero evidence that he was some hard-core criminal. Those hard-cores people are trying to compare him to? They've got rap sheets by age 17, and ya'll know it. And he'd have been packing a gun.
This is a tragedy. Zimmerman made a horrible mistake. A young man is dead. It points to the need for a whole new look at Neighborhood Watch programs. Was it murder? Only Zimmerman knows for sure. It points to the possible need for a law that says you cannot do anything more than call 911 when you see something you deem suspicious...the need for registering these groups...getting volunteers to sign agreements (which become contracts) as to what conduct is allowed and what isn't.
Gads. I can take either side of this so easily it's rather disconcerting.
With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the neighborhood watch volunteer who eventually shot to death the unarmed 17-year-old, then climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered, authorities told The Orlando Sentinel.
That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities said.
....
Police have been reluctant to provide details about their evidence.
But after the Sentinel story appeared online Monday morning, City Manager Norton Bonaparte Jr. issued a news release, saying there would be an internal-affairs investigation into the source of the leak and, if identified, the person or people involved would be disciplined.
He did not challenge the accuracy of the information.
At a Monday news conference, Trayvon's mother, father and their lawyers called the report that their son was suspended from school because of a marijuana baggie irrelevant and needlessly hurtful.
In other words, he was told not to pet the animal, and he did it anyway. It sounds like Trayvon was the kind of kid that was headed down this path sooner or later.
