Hmm ….. remember when President Biden was criticized because FEMA wasnt doing enough?
What say you when aid doesn’t even get approved?
He wants to eliminate FEMA and let individual states deal with disasters. Can anyone guess why FEMA was created in the first place?
🙄

Tornadoes sometimes strike in red, red Ohio.

It will be interesting to see how our Republican legislature and GOP governor handle the lack of FEMA aid the next time one/some strike the Buckeye state.

The SE seaboard, Florida, and the Gulf Coast...are their Republican state governments prepared to assume FEMA's role in the aftermath of hurricanes?

I have said it before, as a former disaster volunteer, I have worked with FEMA, and they are dead serious about their jobs and their assessments. They aren't fooling around.

The ones who are considering eliminating FEMA are a felon and a puppy killer. Think about that.

A tornado struck south of us in W TN just recently.

FEMA people know what they're doing. Expecting each of 50 states and Puerto Rico to try to replicate the experience and know-how is absurd. And wasteful. And, for the near future at least, very non-productive.

🤷‍♀️

Told you this was coming.

It’s almost like they wrote the plan out and told everyone what it was.

If only people would have bothered to read it.
Maga voters work on the principle that Trump is their god, and that as long as they pray to him and send him 'donations', he will never hurt them personally. Which of course is about as crazy as hell, but plenty of social media now from magas Trump has hurt, showing how surprised they are that they personally have actually been hurt. They labour under the horrible misapprehension that Trump might care about them after he has their vote, and that he will only hurt liberals. Which of course is the part that gets their panties all wet in the first place.

During the pandemic trump told pence not to call the governors, because they weren't being appreciative........

......as if all of America's money, supplies and such belong to the trump org now, to do with as they please.

Guess there will be less need for taxes and more time for play now.

I wonder how Governor Sanders in Arkansas, the same woman who repeatedly lied for trump when she was his press secretary, feels about him now that her state is suffering and her request for assistance has been denied....

Yes, how dare people expect help from the government during a natural disaster.
Bunch of whiney liberals!
