These are the top ten states in the USA for gun owner rights, at least according to the video below. The states are North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Arkansas, West Virginia, and New Hampshire.

Here is the video.

A lot of those states are at the bottom of life expectancies. Coincidence?

Top ten states for violent crime:

And we see at the top, the states with the most liberal gun laws:
New Mexico
Alaska
Arkansas

So why aren't those states near the bottom of the list rather the top ?

It has the lowest homicide rate in the country. What more do you want out of its gun laws?

Lol, you figure its because guns are so plentiful it keeps homicides down? Lol

No other factor at playing. That is a real dumbass post.

No, you whining about there being too many guns in the state with the lowest homicide rate, and stupidly misrepresenting what I "figure," makes your comments "dumbass posts."

What other factors do you suddenly think are relevant?

I did not whine about too many guns in NH. Maybe someone else did?

I can think of many other factors.

There seems to be little if any correlation between how liberal a state's gun laws are and its violent crime rate.

Ding. Ding. Ding. We have a winner.

But to the simpleminded folks who believe in "gun control", it must be the supernatural powers of the gun causing all the crime.

Though the states with the most liberal gun laws, top the list of the states with the most violent crime.

New Hampshire disproves your argument.

I wonder if demographics have anything to do with it?????

But then, I would probably be accused of "racism", LOL.

Really ?
If guns offered so much protection, how come the violent crime stats of Arizona and Alaska are so high ?

Because the prevalence of legally owned guns has nothing to do with the violent crime rates. But you knew that.

So you admit that guns do not offer protection against crime
Thank you for that.
I didn't say that, but expecting honesty from you would be foolish. Let me remind you what I said:

Please note that I said nothing, repeat NOTHING, about protection from crime.

Why do you lie so much about what people say?

You said that guns had nothing to do with crime rates
Therefore they (guns) have zero effect on deterring crime. Correct ?

Its the only way he can try and debate.

Guns themselves don't. You simply have to extract yourself from the childish ideas of guns as independent actors.

Now, a person can indeed use a gun to deter a crime, or even likely future crimes in the event he uses one to center-punch a miscreant.
