I live in one of the states and had not heard about this. Sounds like the FDA is on top of this, so that's good.

A recent tomato recall over possible contamination of salmonella has received the highest risk level from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the agency said.

On May, 28, the FDA marked the tomato recall affecting three states as Class I, meaning there is a risk of "serious adverse health consequences or death."

That’s unfortunate. Tomatoes are delicious. Yet another reason why the government needs to prohibit abutting produce farms with cattle farms. These things are always caused by the runoff of infected cattle feces into the irrigation canals of abutting produce farms.

Whomever leaked this report to the public needs to be fired, maybe prosecuted.

The Trump administration has ordered that NO ONE is to publish or dislose anything without running it past the White House first. Insubordination and disloyalty will not be tolerated!
