Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep and hundreds of other stars sign letter backing Jimmy Kimmel

Are you looking to retire the “Unclear on the Concept Award”?
Are you saying that Kimmel is not being allowed to speak because he was fired?
He can still speak, just not at ABC.
He can get another TV show, if someone will hire him.
Or he can go back to being a stand-up comedian.

Good for them. As Disney is private, they can do whatever they like contractually with Kimmel. Along with the large number of affiliate preemption, my guess is his show was a drain on the bottom line and his statements provided an easy way out of it.
Disney is likely to get sued. They will pay to settle the lawsuit.

He was fired because he said something that MAGA scum didn't like. So, they censored him illegally. Carr's involvement and the involvement of the FCC make it a 1st Amendment violation.

He was still censored.

Both true. He will do with money that ABC/Disney pay out for unlawfully censoring him.

He was suspended, not fired. He is probably still under contract.

Now that I think about it, that contract might have a termination clause with a very big number if done so without cause. If that is the case, suspension makes sense.

It's not just famous people who are against a POLITICIAN getting people fired at private companies.

It's all the decent Americans.

I think ABC knows what they doing.
They have a just cause.
He probably breached a clause in his contract.

True, he can speak on street corners or in this forum, but that’s not the point. That’s what you missed. He was being censored.
