Today, many videos are showing as black blank boxes

If I refresh a couple of times, I may be able to see a couple, but can't view a lot of the music videos I like to hear. This is not happening on other sites for me, just this one. If this problem has already been addressed, I apologize, missed it.

Yep .... I'm having the same problem.

Yeah, I just posted there and all of the boxes are blacked out

It’s the “What are you listening to” thread.

Just had my own first experience of this. Seems to be just on this site. Briefly (1 second) saw the contents of the 'black box' before it went completely blank.

Same here, after using the Refresh icon, I sometimes got a once second flash of the video cover.

My YouTube videos don't play for me right now. I dunno about for anyone else.

I read this thread because I've had the YouTube black screen problem here before, contacted YouTube, described and reported it to include a screenshot of the stupid messages, and it was corrected within hours.

This happened again here last week however. I did the report drill and a few hours later my videos here were okay -- same as before, months ago.

Now it's happening again when I just now checked two threads with my YT videos. The TicToc video at the Military Forum "Manual of Arms" thread plays fine, but the YT videos I posted there do not. I figure this is a YT problem. My posted YT videos at the other Military thread I checked just now didn't play either, which is the Combat Brigade to Mexico thread.

Each time at each thread I get the rare and bizarre message, "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot." I clicked on the black box rather than to "sign in" right away and the message came up on a white screen, "supportgoogle.com refused to connect." I went to my account at YT where the videos played just fine. So again I just reported it via my YT account and await some sort of response.
