U.S., Bush denounce slaying in Lebanon
By JENNIFER LOVEN, Associated Press Writer 11 minutes ago
HONOLULU - President Bush denounced Tuesday's assassination of a Lebanese leader, Syria and Iran are trying to undermine the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Fuad Saniora.
"We support the Saniora government and its democracy and we support the Lebanese people's desire to live in peace," Bush said after having breakfast with U.S. troops stationed here. "And we support their efforts to defend their democracy against attempts by Syria, Iran and allies to foment instability and violence in that important country."
Strong action must be taken against Iran, Syria, and Hisb'allah. There must be SEVERE conesequences for what has happened.
It's now time for hardcore action against Iran and Syria. Both countries, Iran & Syria, need to lose a major city for their rolls in the murder of the Lebanese leader.
We MUST make it clear to these pigs that their actions will cost them dearly. I reccomend taking out the capital cities of each country with low-yield Thermite Plasma bombs. This will leave them in ruins but leave no radioactive back lash. -- We can then focus on devastating all of Iran's nuclear assets.
In addition to this, Nezrallah needs to be hunted down and executed. His body needs to be bathed in pig endtrails and burned. (For those of you who do not know; this will send him to muslim hell... WHERE HE BELONGS)
We MUST show these mindless pigs that we WILL NOT tolerate their religious-based murder for hire schemes. As such, all of Hisb'allah must now be EXTERMINATED.

Ok folks ---
I went a little overboard here --- and I apologize for that. I am just tired of the constant turmoil in the middle east. I am tired of all of the needless deaths too.
:2wave:
. If you're tired of the needless deaths and turmoil in the ME then why don't you advocate for peace instead of extermination and more war? ?
Why didn't his denouncement include Israel? They are just as much to blame as Hezbollah.Originally posted by Vader:

Israel has a right to exist, but the do not have a right to impunity! The United Nation's highest body upholds Israeli War Crimes,
in Violation of the UN Charter
The word "war" is not mentioned in the resolution on Lebanon
by Michel Chossudovsky Global Research, August 12, 2006
Transcript of Resolution 1701 in annex to Article: "the word "War" is not mentioned in The UN Security Council Resolution
UN Security Council Resolution 1701 was drafted by France and the US in close consultation with the Israeli government.
a) The resolution is in blatant violation of the UN charter and international law. It fails to acknoweldge that Israel has launched an all out war on Lebanon in violation of international law. It describes the bombing and destruction of an entire country as as a "conflict between Hizbollah and Israel". The word "war" does not appear in the text of the Resolution.
b) Referring to the two abducted Israeli soldiers, the Resolution states that Hizbollah was responsible for launching "the attack on Israel on 12 July". It denies the fact, amply documented, that an all out war against Lebanon had been in the planning stages well before July 12.
c) The historical causes of the war are denied. The abduction of the two Israeli soldiers on July 12, is presented as a just cause for Israeli retaliation.
d) The resolution does not acknowledge the extensive war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel against the people of Lebanon. In this regard, Israel is indelibly responsible for "Crimes against Peace" as defined in Article 6a of the Nuremberg Charter: for "the planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression, or a war in violation of international treaties". Israel is also responsible for "War Crimes" under Article 6b of the Nuremberg Charter .through the "plunder of public or private property, wanton destruction of cities, towns or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity;" (Art. 6b). It is responsible for "Crimes against Humanity" through the perpetration of acts of : "murder,... and other inhumane acts committed against any civilian population, before or during the war..." (Article 6c).
e) The Resolution does not acknowledge another important dimension. Israel is in violation of the Geneva Convention by deliberately preventing the flow of humanitarian aid to the war zone: Article 15 of the Geneva Convention states in this regard that "parties to the conflict shall, without delay, take all possible measures to search for and collect the wounded and sick,..."
f) In practice, Lebanon's Sovereignty is in jeopardy. There is nothing in Resolution 1701 which requires Israel to immediately and unconditonally withdraw its troops.
k) The UN system is potentially in jeopardy: The United Nation's highest body has not only failed to acknowledge the existence of pervasive war crimes in violation of the UN charter, it has also acted in the interests of the Israeli government which has ordered these war crimes.
Why don't you? As one who claims to have read the Hamas charter, but supports Hamas unconditionally nevertheless, I would think you would be one of the last people anybody should listen to in this regard.
What in the world does Israel have to do with the assassination of Gemayal? Do you comprehend at all what this thread is about? Please stay on topic.Billo_Really said:Why didn't his denouncement include Israel? They are just as much to blame as Hezbollah.
What your bogus rant neglects to mention is that Lebanon willingly ratified the UN resolution.Billo_Really said:Israel has a right to exist, but the do not have a right to impunity!
Of coarse they did. It is a matter of survival for them. I have no such fear, and thus, am able to speak my piece honestly. I object to the wording in that Resolution painting the picture that everything started with the abduction of the two Israeli soldiers. When in reality, hostilities were planned a month before in a meeting at the White House with your government. I also notice no one mentions the fact that those soldiers were kidnapped on Lebanese soil!Originally posted by Tashah:

What do you have against my objections to a double-standard?
And why are you guys in violation of about 30 UN Resolutions? That to me, says your not doing enough to keep the peace.
I'll say you went overboard. If you're tired of the needless deaths and turmoil in the ME then why don't you advocate for peace instead of extermination and more war? It is obvious you are only getting one side of the story in the ME to draw your conclusions. How come?
