In that case, they should have joined in with the "Free Speech" crowd and conducted their free speech there.
Sorry. I've updated my post #143 that includes all posts I'm referring to.
The tweets I saw when I got home were:
"Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you."
and
"Great job by all law enforcement officers and Boston Mayor @Marty_Walsh."
The second tweet isn't wrong. But you know the main reason why todays protests were peaceful? Because we were there to be peaceful. The reason I went to the protest was because I wanted to show that resistance to naziism and white supremacy can be peaceful. To make a point to the people who have condemned the left as violent. That was the most important point to make today, and as a whole the protest really achieved that. It's misrepresentation when the President is tweeting things whilst the protest going on which are counter to that message, because it leads to people like you jumping on the bandwagon that the left are a bunch of violent thugs. Reality is, we're not.
I do applaud his later tweets.

Also he misspelled heal:lamo Like really?
Trump's reaction to the protest:
"Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you."
I think if there's one tweet that perfectly communicates, "I just don't give a **** anymore," that may be it.
That is how YOU want to see it. Because you hate him so.
He did not characterize the protest. He merely pointed out a simple fact that there were many anti-police agitators, and commented on the police and thanked them.
The only tweets coming out of Boston Police Department talk about roads being closed and urine bring thrown on officers, then a follow up confirming the exact location of where it was happening and that rocks were also being thrown...... What impression of the protest do you think the Boston Police twitter gave to its followers for the protest?
See going forward, every rally is going to be labeled "alt right" or "far right" by the media, even if it isn't.
The "march on google" was done that way, even though they aren't "alt right."
This is not right.
The translation of that could mean, "looks like a lot of black people are out and about in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart. Thank you!"
You're just dodging and weaving now. Badly. What impression of the protest do you think Trump left his followers with for the one hour between his first tweet (Many anti-police agitators!) and the ones that followed?
Do you think his followers concluded that it was a largely peaceful protest from that tweet? Does that sound reasonable to you?
Not sure if it was an autocorrect thing or not.
It was corrected... because when I saw it, it said heal.
Auto-correct usually works by inputting the word that you use more frequently. Guess he either talks a lot about ivanka's fashion line, or he has a foot fetish
For instance: Heel for me is also suggested Health when I type. From that I can determine that I am concerned about other people's health quite a lot.
Its nice to see you keep defending hate speech

But since it would seem nobody is talking about who actually showed up.... we'll never know will we?
So until I see any proof that there were actually bad dudes who showed up to the free speech event....
All I see is a bunch of counter protesters, protesting the free speech rights of others... who they claim to be nazis, but we don't really know that they were.
That is how some with Trump Derrangement Syndrome would twist it, yes.
You making this up says more about you than it says about Trump.
Namely, that you think black people are all anti-police agitators.
Here's some photos my friend took of the rally:
The guy in the red hat has been identified as Kyle Chapman. He was charged at the Berkley protests in March for beating counter protestors with a lead pipe.
Trump supporter arrested in Berkeley could face lengthy prison term - SFGate
Felony charge for Trump supporter in Berkeley melee - San Francisco Chronicle
To be completely honest, I live in a solid red state with strong Trump supporters. While what I said was kind of a joke, it wasn't entirely a joke. A lot of people here seem to consider BLM, and, hence, the average black person on TV in Boston, to be police agitators and an organization to kill cops.
That is why I posted what I did. Trump sees black people on TV in Boston and tweets, he sees police agitators.
That's really what I think about the Trump supporters I live around...
Basically, you just convinced yourself that being against free speech is a good thing. You know, its possible to have issues without concept of free speech without hating free speech.
Simply put, speech has been "weaponized". Persuasion is a science. Hitler's propagandist Goebbels stated clearly that the Reich could never have happened without the propaganda techniques learned from the Soviets. He even perfected the technique called the Big Lie.
So in a very real way "speech" was responsible for the rise of the Reich.
So if there is a scientific method of manipulating people through "speech", then I have to reject the idea that all speech should be protected in all instances.
I would be OK with a national campaign addressing this technology. But that's never going to happen because every single political operation is utterly dependent on it.
That's just my off message take on the subject.
Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
[shakes head slowly]
Caine admitting you're wrong, or even just dropping it, is really not the end of the world. You think trying to be funny somehow gets you off the hook, but it just looks sad.
What about the request to stop throwing urine and other objects harmful at their officers?
Or did you conveniently ignore that part because it hurts your message?
You DO realize that it is intellectually honest to both call out the fact that there are anti-police agitators AND for Trump to state,
"I want to applaud the many protesters in Boston that are speaking out against bigotry and hate. Our Country will soon come together as one."
I think it is intellectually dishonest to consistently attempt to claim Trump is making blanket statements because it suits your own purposes.
"Many" does not imply he is calling the whole group of protesters anti-police agitators. And just because the vast majority of the group protested in proper fashion does not mean that people should ignore Anti-fa groups who are agitating police and throwing rocks and urine at officers.
Get a grip on reality.
If .1% of Right wingers caused trouble, would you say the same thing?
Just because they didn't do anything doesn't mean they were "there for the right reasons".
That's why the Libbos are absolutely dangerous. It won't be long before they find out why the Founders gave us the 2nd Amendment.
We weren't protesting free speech. We were protesting white supremacy, naziism and racism. No-one had signs saying 'down with free speech'. I barely saw any white supremacists out. We drowned them out. Which was exactly the point. We didn't shut down their speech, we just spoke out louder.
What exactly is wrong with what is happening in this photo? If this was a white man doing the same thing, no doubt you'd assume he was going to a sports game or something. But because it is a black man, he is a thug.
This is exactly what racism is, and is exactly why you are a racist.
Then he was a ****ing idiot for doing live reporting. He's the President of the United States, not the drunk guy at the bar. So because he couldn't hold his horses for a couple hours he now looks like a liar, an idiot, and a divider (he's all three, in case you're trying to figure out which one to choose).
You're accusing me of pre-judging? Haha. Both you and Trump would clearly have benefited from holding your horses and listening to the Police Commissioner's summary of the day.
