Anyone have any thoughts on whatever became of the infamous 'alt-right' movement that was ever so present during the 2016 election race? Where have they gone?
Personally, I believe that many left the movement, and many others simply became quieter and more content with Trump's presidency. Those of whom remain are usually just clumped together as average Trump supporters and used as extremists.
It's going the way of, "The Russians did it"
Just some more made-up Leftist BS.

...
I don't care what they may say
I don't care what they may do
I don't care what they may say
Jesus is just altright, oh yeah
Jesus is just altright

I consider the expression 'alt right' to be a vapid and useless affectation uttered by those broken-hearted by Hillary Clinton's humiliating loss last November.
It's a flash-in-the-pan insult.
Here yesterday, gone today.
Adios, pejorative nonsense du jour.
True, although, I think it was mostly overreaction to Hillary's policies and the race-baiting Democrats themselves. I mean, I've seen some people who would actually classify themselves as such, but after the election, they pretty much just became quieter and less extreme. I think that the left called any reaction to them and their bull**** ideas as 'alt-right' if they didn't like it, or if they just flat out opposed it.
The Alternative Right is a term coined in 2008 by Richard Bertrand Spencer, who heads the white nationalist think tank known as the National Policy Institute, to describe a loose set of far-right ideals centered on “white identity” and the preservation of “Western civilization.” In 2010, Spencer, who had done stints as an editor of The American Conservative and Taki’s Magazine, launched the Alternative Right blog, where he worked to refine the movement’s ideological tenets. https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/ideology/alternative-right

It's coined by Spencer, who's a racist, but it's branched out to many other groups that want nothing to do with hardcore racists and instead are for the most part against the Establishment, both right and left. Here's Breitbart's take, and the reason I give their take is they're usually considered the bastion of Alt-Right by many lefties, even though the writers of the article say they don't identify with the Alt-Right. An Establishment Conservative's Guide To The Alt-Right - Breitbart
The "Alt Right" as boogeyman is a fabrication by the tard left. Leftists have one play in their playbook. Their play has nothing to do with improving national security, jobs, improving the country, etc. Their one play...shriek "racism/sexism____ism!!!" at the top of their lungs and appeal to their mindless sheep followers.

You make want to visit Moveon.org or the Daily Kos for Alt-left view points. See how that works?
They didn't go anywhere. The novelty of their existence is over is all. The emergence of a highly bigoted and xenophobic mindset is complete and we've come to accept that this is the new reality we have to contend with.
Pretty much. Trump's minions on this forum though will continue to proclaim the "Alt-Right" was invented by liberals, even though Steve freakin' Bannon himself has even acknowledged that Breitbart was a platform for the "Alt-Right".
That's because the vast majority of Trump supporters here at DP have reached the point of simply handwaving away facts that inconvenience their idiotic worldview.
