There will be dumb people everywhere who don't listen to healthcare officials or the mandates.
The only difference when it comes to politics is some politicians (95%-100% of which happen to be Republicans and including Trump, say at Tulsa rally) encourage this type of behavior. Others, which includes Democrats and some other Republicans, discourage it.

Civil disobedience is making a strong comeback in the US it seems.
Young people with strong hormones care more about socializing and getting laid than in what shaming Lester Holt and Anthony Fauci might do.

When contagious myself or in the presence of somebody appearing to be contagious, I've been practicing social distancing since my early days on this planet. My dad was a doctor.
We were trained to wash hands and cover coughs and sneezes with hands starting back in the 50s. When I worked with currency in the local drug store, I was instructed to wash frequently because currency is a strong source of germs.
The amazing thing Mike, is that I did not need Anthony and Lester Holt to inform me about these things. It was how I was raised, ya know? :mrgreen: Probably you too.
But today we are supposed to be honored that Fauci & Friends care so much about us and our well being that we should genuflect in their presence.
When meeting on Sundays with a bunch of motorcycle friends, many whose names I don't even know, we don't practice social distancing or masks. It's outdoors. Several already had it here in Florida in the beginning. So far I seem to have dodged the bullet, but I take many supplements.
I still go down to the same restaurant and bar I've been going to for years, including at the peak of the virus before we even knew the name. Many there have already had it and got over it. I go no more than twice a week, usually only once.

Let me ask your personal opinion. Is it a good idea to wear mask and social distance while CV19 is still circulating in the US?
