I could go on and on about FAFO and I could go on and on about how Trump voters should have better educated themselves and I could go on and on about how they should have read Project 2025 and I could go on and on about Trump/Miller and their history and I could go on and on about how Fox News makes them a cult but I think this pic sums it up...
"They met through mutual friends, had a first date at the local steakhouse, married after two years and were saving to buy a house and have kids. Muñoz was already caring for Bartell's now 12-year-old son as her own.
But last month, on their way home to Wisconsin after honeymooning in Puerto Rico, an immigration agent pulled Muñoz aside in the airport.
"Are you an American citizen?" asked the agent. She answered no, she wasn't. She's from Peru. But she and her husband had taken the legal steps so that one day she might get U.S. citizenship."
This Wisconsin man voted for Trump. Now his wife sits in an ICE detention center.
ICE's deportation actions signal that anyone who isn't a US citizen is 'at risk – period,' immigration attorney says.www.jsonline.com
And his own kid.He destroyed his own wife through his vote. FAFO.
Why would they have to go through immigration coming back to a US city from Puerto Rico, which is part of the US?But last month, on their way home to Wisconsin after honeymooning in Puerto Rico, an immigration agent pulled Muñoz aside in the airport.

There aren't any formal immigration checkpoints between the US mainland and Puerto Rico. But most airports will still have immigration personnel on hand who can question anyone who boards a domestic flight if they suspect the person is illegally here.Came here to ask this. There’s something not being told to us here. The leftoids will fall for it hook, line, and sinker, then abandon the it when the truth is revealed.
TSA just verifies your id is legit and matches the ticket.
Hey. Maybe they swam. There aren't any formal immigration checkpoints between the US mainland and Puerto Rico. But most airports will still have immigration personnel on hand who can question anyone who boards a domestic flight if they suspect the person is illegally here.

Depending on her ID they may have had reason to suspect she wasn't here legally. You can say this, but it’s not really true. CBP agents don’t work domestic flights, and there if it was as easy as checking names then we wouldn’t bother with passports would we?
Any of the above. When would such an interaction happen? At TSA? At the gate? After they deplaned in Wisconsin?
Perhaps they were. Or perhaps something about her ID was a red flag. Or maybe she said something that was a red flag. Hard to say.The only way this would happen is if immigration was actively seeking her.
I hate to make you have to eat your words, but I happen to be "a leftoid" (in your terminology) and I obviously question the news I read. (By the way, I prefer to be a called liberal Democrat rather than "a leftoid".)Came here to ask this. There’s something not being told to us here. The leftoids will fall for it hook, line, and sinker, then abandon the it when the truth is revealed.

Reread the article. It wasn’t TSA.Came here to ask this. There’s something not being told to us here. The leftoids will fall for it hook, line, and sinker, then abandon the it when the truth is revealed.

TSA doesn’t check any of that. The details in this story are conveniently lacking.
Or maybe she was sneaking something onto the plane. Again, the details are missing. But if ICE was actively looking for her, then who’s president wouldn’t matter.
Yes and we are far safer now without a transplant surgeon and a medical school professor too. We need to make room for all the gangsters and Russian oligarchs who are getting citizenship under the Trump gold card program.Dont count on the government for clarity.
We know this:
"...the mass deportation effort has rapidly expanded to include immigrants whose application for legal status in the country is under review.
Even those married or engaged to U.S. citizens are being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, USA TODAY has learned.
Bartell and Muñoz wore their wedding rings for the flight home, secure in the knowledge that the U.S. government knew they had applied for her green card. She had overstayed her original visa but, they reasoned, she had been vetted from the start, worked on a W-2 and paid her taxes."
I know I feel better and safer knowing she is off the street.

Doctor and Professor Is Deported Despite a Judge’s Order
Dr. Rasha Alawieh, a kidney transplant specialist and Brown University professor who had a valid visa, was expelled in apparent defiance of a court order.
A kidney transplant specialist and professor at Brown University’s medical school has been deported from the United States, even though she had a valid visa and a court order temporarily blocking her expulsion, according to her lawyer and court papers.
Dr. Rasha Alawieh, 34, a Lebanese citizen who had traveled to Lebanon last month to visit relatives, was detained on Thursday when she returned to the United States, according to a court complaint filed by her cousin Yara Chehab.
Judge Leo T. Sorokin of the Federal District Court in Massachusetts ordered the government on Friday evening to provide the court with 48 hours’ notice before deporting Dr. Alawieh. But she was put on a flight to Paris, presumably on her way to Lebanon.

I really feel bad for them.
