I know nothing about how that works or how much it would cost.

I mention it because I was a regular in a literary chat room that opened a forum like this one. I was thinking this forum could do the opposite. It was great fun.
 
A live casual place to chat would be fun I think. It's something that could be trialed to see how it works out.

Alternatively if @Schweddy and @RedAkston aren't interested there's no reason members couldn't set one up separately.

I think it had one back in the day.
 
We've tried this on 2 separate occasions in the past and it didn't go well either time. We have zero desire to try this again. This sounds great in theory, but it doesn't work in reality.
