The political parties are the problem and have become a danger to our country. During the lame duck session the moderates of both parties should form a coalition and take over leadership of both the house and the senate. Then pass legislation that strips political parties of any legal standing...

That's like saying the Sun is the problem behind skin cancers.

Parties are going to stay. The problem is when one of the parties decides to take leave of its senses, which is where the GOP has been heading for the past few decades.
