This election in simple terms.

The two sides are clearly illustrate here.

MAGA's hate America and want it to fail. Trump is how they do it. They know he can't run anything and is a moron and malignant narcissist.

Malignant narcissism is a psychological disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self-worth, a need for admiration, and a disregard for others. A malignant narcissist may experience paranoia, feeling threatened or persecuted without proof, and are aggressive, manipulative, and abusive without remorse.
As a combination of narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder, malignant narcissism is considered the most severe type of narcissism.

At the most basic level this election is about whether the America of the future will be one of federal supremacy or citizen supremacy. We have, since the 1930s, ceded more and more power to the federal government and are now at the point where we need to decide whether we want that power to become permanent and even more expansive or whether we want to return that power to the states and to the people. It's a matter of whether we want the Constitution to exist as a limit on federal power, as it is now, or whether we want it to be a full blown authorization for the federal government to consolidate ALL power in this country. The personalities that are running are NOT the issue and, to my thinking, serve only as a distraction to the real issue of whether we are willing to become slaves to the bureaucracy or not.

So you have not read about Project 2025? Trump's plan will consolidate all power to him.

I've browsed through the Project 2025 agenda but didn't go through all 900+ pages of it. Those "think tank" papers tend to be more pipe dream than substance anyway and, since Trump pretty much distanced himself from that issue right off the bat, I find suggestions that it's "his plan" to be more than a little disingenuous.

The issue at hand is Trump's laziness and rapidly advancing dementia. It's clear that his handlers are propping him up, shooting him up with stimulants before public appearances and telling him what to do. Hell, even Don Jr. told him to pick Vance as a running mate. Therefore, what Donald thinks about Project 2025 doesn't matter anymore, since he's not going to be in control anyway--during a Trump term he wouldn't even be in the White House when there are golf courses that need to be played. It will be his handlers running things, and those are the same people who wrote Project 2025.

I hate to break it to you but chanting USA doesn't make one more patriotic,. Actions speak louder than words and they say "USA" then turn a blind eye when their hero disrespects the military.

Leftists, Marxists, democrats - they hate America. Every 4 years the party tries to pretend that it doesn't - but we see the epic fail of that,

Could you please post something that isn't ****ing delusional?

This country cannot run without its executive agencies for a very simple reason: congress neither has the time, expertise, nor staff to fully understand everything agencies address. There isn't time for every congressperson to get a degree in everything and devote their life to everything such that they can specify what is and is not an acceptable level of CHEMICAL X in drinking water, how much support a certain part of a certain type of bridge needs to be able to provide, the necessary orbital trajectory and timing to get a probe from Earth's surface to Mars's surface, yadda yadda yadda. We need the agencies.

If you think otherwise, you're operating from a position of extreme ignorance and blind ideology.

Meanwhile, Project 2025 - and don't bother with the laughable bullshit about "Trump said he doesn't support it" - promises not to get rid of agencies but merely to turn them into Trump's personal weapons and piggy banks. Far close to what you pretend to panic about than what you claim might actually cause people to be "slaves" to amorphous "bureaucracy".

The vast bulk of right wingers are the perfect example of Asimov's quote about America's cult of ignorance. You not only don't know how things work, you actively despise the concept of knowing. All you've got is melodramatic sloganeering.

Isn't it amazing that the Americans provide undoctored video - but the democrats always have to put fake slander out in order to try and appear clever.

Very sad.

State control gave us Jim Crow and now, women without the right to control their own bodies and individuals deprived of the right to get the health care they need, voter suppression, bans on free speech, banned books in libraries, and government indoctrination of education, and that's just for starters.

You really want these things?

An expression of patriotism is a poor guide to running government. In fact, its virtually meaningless.

I too have perused it. As is often the case with think tank collaborations - not all the authors agree with each other inside the paper itself. You will find several who contradict each other.

None of the board Marxists have read the paper - they rely purely on the leftist hate sites like MSNBC and Young Turds to tell them what they think about it.

I think patriotism is a little more complex than chanting USA to a man who talks shit about America and thinks only he can make America "great again" which implies it's not great.

Don’t forget the Globalists, the Handlers, the Deep State and the Wokaholics.

It’s hard to take your posts seriously when you do such a lackluster job of enumerating secret shadow societies.

Sure, some people will settle for Don Jr. levels of performance but is that all you want? Aren’t you the least bit interested in rising to the high standard set by Eric?

So what’s your fix?
