Well when some kid with a stick starts yelling at the cops "WHAT YOU GONNA DO?!?!" right when they pull up. You sorta got a problem you gotta deal with.
that is such a bull**** cop out excuse; LE are (supposed) to be held to a higher standard, as they should be. LE are trained to de-escalate situations; all this asshole officer did was to continually talk ****, which is not his job function. Stupid bitch doesn't deserve to be a LEO.
The cop was trying to communicate with the mom and the adult son (i think he was) kept yelling at him and interrupting the police call. He kept trying to communicate with the mom mannnnny times but that punk kept yelling at him. You know in a mans world when 2 people keep yelling at eachother for 5 minutes it means they want to fight.

He was basically his defacto dad teaching him a lesson that they both agreed to.
The cop is wrong. the kid can cuss at him and there is nothing that the cop can do.
the cop might not like it but him getting cussed out is constitutionally protected.
If this kid is a minor the cop shoving him could get him in trouble.
Well it says "teen" instead of kid and when they usually do that its usual 18 or 19 years old. If its under 18 they usually say "kid". Im assuming its an adult son. If it really is a minor then I disagree with the 1 on 1 combat, which both agreed to.
Im not sure how I felt about this. But I'm kinda proud of the cop for seeing the situation exactly how it is. But I could see how this could go wrong and not work with all cops in this situation. Is it legal to challenge someone to 1 on 1 fist to fist combat in this state?
you shove anyone in public you can be arrested so unless this kid did something and the cop was defending himself he should face the same punishment.
cops are not above the law.
I don’t think that is ok at all. Is that a minor? I am pretty sure it isn’t legal to challenge a minor to fiat to fiat combat in any state. And if it isn’t a minor it is highly unprofessional and could end up costing the tax payers a lawsuit.
I have seen some good but unorthodox policing before. I don’t think this falls into that category.
