What regulations were imposed on the raising of cattle?
I've run into exactly zero problems buying beef over the last lifetime....
What I see there is some random-ass unsourced post from a Caerish Bhim, from "Animal Planet HQ", of which I have not heard.
The people opposed to cows- and eating cows- are generally a small number of extremist cranks. This is true. Yet their shrieks are loud in some quarters.
Only in the right wing outrage machine quarters.
Actually it's vegans doing most of the farting. For over a decade, environmental groups and green activists rallied against the cattle industry, citing methane emissions as a major contributor to climate change. The so-called "War on Cows" garnered widespread attention, with activists demanding a shift away from meat production, accusing cattle of playing a significant role in environmental destruction. However, a breakthrough in agricultural science has turned the tide in this ongoing debate, and many now claim that the war has come to an end, with environmental extremists on the losing side.
The argument is that cows just eat vegetables and fart....kinda like vegans.

Yup. Countries like China will continue to invest and surpass our technological base due to our short sightedness. For over a decade, environmental groups and green activists rallied against the cattle industry, citing methane emissions as a major contributor to climate change. Well, whatever beef you don't want to eat, I'll step up.What regulations were imposed on the raising of cattle?

What I see there is some random-ass unsourced post from a Caerish Bhim, from "Animal Planet HQ", of which I have not heard. It's full of conclusory statements. It doesn't even mention what the "war" was, beyond some unidentified number of "activists" who were "demanding a shift away from meat production".
How do you rely on this as a source, @Bum? This isn't "on the lighter side".
What bloody war? "Activists" said don't eat meat because it's inefficient to grow and then certain species fart too much methane. Did Biden say something about banning beef?

Extremist cranks:
According to an initial outline of the measure, the freshman Democrat and Sen. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) said they “set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast.”
AOC explains why ‘farting cows’ were considered in Green New Deal
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spent plenty of air time explaining “farting cows,” as she defended her so-called Green New Deal on the premiere of Showtime’s “Desus & Mero.” Accordin…nypost.com
"Extremist cranks" who get lots of attention from right wing media, to induce outrage, the drug of choice of the new American right wing.
No one else pays any attention to them.
I've never heard anyone shriek about beef. I buy beef all the time. This is ****ing stupid.

Since I went carnivore, gas and bloating are almost nonexistent. It was the veggies, not the meat.Farting levels don't improve in humans when you go vegetarian or vegan. They make the farts less smelly....but that's about it.
Or that other “white meat.”China is more of a pork kind of place....
