This coronavirus is doing a lot of damage to several aspects of life in America. Our political leaders are spending bogus American dollars by the multiple trillions in an effort to absorb the shock of trashing the economy out of fears of getting sick from the virus. And it has spent trillions of bogus US dollars in efforts to rob other nations of help and supplies in order to help Americans first. This kind of international theft and unconscionable disrespect for others will no doubt have very bad consequences for America in the coming months and years.

US snatches 60M France-bound medical masks from tarmac in China | Daily Sabah

(sigh)

1. This is a duplicate thread. US snatches 60 Million France-bound medical masks from tarmac in China

2. The article is loaded with false labeling. "Stealing" means to take something without paying for it. The article states the items were paid for. Snatching means to grab away from. The items were paid for and rerouted. The article says "The U.S." giving the impression without factual support that it was our government that did it, as opposed to say some American company or a wealthy entrepreneur.

3. You then compound the issue by also asserting "theft," when it is clear no such thing occurred.

4. As I pointed out in the first thread on this subject, since the items were paid for and rerouted, it seems that whomever was originally the owner/shipper could simply have said "No." Thus honoring their original deal.

It serves no useful purpose to not only buy into this kind of propaganda, but to perpetuate it.

Try again? :coffeepap:

The OP linked article title changed the rather important words allegedly snatched in the lead sentence to snatches in the title - obviously to save space.

The OP linked article is partially covered with some pop-up blob making it rather difficult to read the rest of the "alleged" story.

Apparently France *stole* a bunch of masks too, so all is well.

I also see a LOT of masks are being wasted, so...

I heard this was a rumor that proved to be false.

Probably spread by the Russians.
