Skeptics always demand from a believer, "show me proof!"

And the believer would respond, by providing a plethora of evidence:

THE BIBLE (information only the CREATOR would know - written descriptions of creation that were later reaffirmed by modern science)

COMPLEXITY and ORDER of the cosmos and biology - which of course, points to DESIGN

FINE-TUNING (universe, earth and earth's life) - which of course, points to DESIGN.

ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE

ORIGIN OF LIFE

RARE EARTH - earth being unique.

HUMAN EXCEPTIONALISM - distinct apart from others in possessing the capacity for symbolic recognition, for complex language, art, and music, for technological advancement, and for spiritual and philosophical engagement.

LAWS OF MATHEMATICS

HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS - no physical presence yet mysteriously guides the physical actions of our bodies.

....and would even thrown in that National Academy of Sciences statement!

But - the ultimate evidence anyone can give, would be the personal testimonies of reputable people who had come to believe because they found the proof about GOD.

Some have had a religious experience. Had experienced, something "profound."
Some had experienced miracles.
Some had seen or understood................some had made discoveries which led the way to conversion.

They come from everywhere.
They come from all walks of life.
Throughout history to the present.

Obviously, what they had was enough to have changed their mind.
From skeptics, they became believers!

And some had even come out publicly to announce their big step from skeptic to believer, and provide an explanation as to what had led them.
God provides these experiences for His own reason and purpose.
Perhaps, they were meant to share them!

A personal evidence, is your own.
It's exclusively yours.
It was given to you.
It was meant for you.
It is what had made you believe.

For every skeptic that became a believer there are ten believers who became skeptics.

Irrelevant.

Your comment would be like saying, a starving man who's been given food makes no difference since there are still millions who are starving.

I'm not talking about starvation!

I'm talking about........................ THE MAN, who was given food.

You telling me your neighbor is hungry, IS IRRELEVANT to the issue!
Go to the food bank!

Anyway - let me just ignore you unless you've got something worth responding to.

MIT Professor Writes About Her Conversion from Atheism to Christianity

Rosalind Picard is a Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
She is also a Fellow with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, which is one of the highest honors that an engineer can receive.

She even invented an entire branch of computer science called affective computing. She is obviously an incredibly smart woman who is a very successful in her field. She is also a Christian.

How CS Lewis Found God

C.S. Lewis found God and the savior Jesus Christ on a motorcycle ride to the zoo.
He was reluctant to convert to christianity for much of his life but found his way after years of discussions with devout christians like J.R.R. Tolkien.
Max McClean and Drew talk about the great author's slow conversion and how he found his faith.

Yeah, no.

I'm talking about........................ THE MAN, who was given food.

Please do.

Francis Sellers Collins ForMemRS (born April 14, 1950) is an American physician-scientist who discovered the genes associated with a number of diseases and led the Human Genome Project.
He served as director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, from 17 August 2009 to 19 December 2021, serving under three presidents.[1][2]

While leading the National Human Genome Research Institute, Collins was elected to the Institute of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences. He was awarded the Canada Gairdner International Award in 1990.
He was a Kilby International Awards recipient in 1993.[85] Collins received the Golden Plate Award of the American Academy of Achievement in 1994.[86]
He received the Association for Molecular Pathology Award for Excellence in Molecular Diagnostics in 1998.[87]

He received the Biotechnology Heritage Award with J. Craig Venter in 2001, from the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and the Chemical Heritage Foundation.[88][89] Collins and Venter shared the "Biography of the Year" title from A&E Network in 2000.[90] In 2005, Collins and Venter were honored as two of "America's Best Leaders" by U.S. News & World Report and the Harvard University Center for Public Leadership.[91]

In 2020, he received the Templeton Prize,[99] and was elected a Foreign Member of the Royal Society.[100]

In his 2006 book The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief, Collins wrote that scientific discoveries were an "opportunity to worship" and that he rejected both Young Earth creationism and intelligent design.
He wrote that his own belief was theistic evolution or evolutionary creation, which he preferred to call BioLogos.

William Lane Craig (born August 23, 1949) is an American analytic philosopher, Christian apologist, author, and Wesleyan theologian who upholds the view of Molinism and neo-Apollinarianism.[2][3][4]
He is a professor of philosophy at Houston Christian University and at the Talbot School of Theology of Biola University.[5]

On Thursday, April 10th, 2014 Dr William Lane Craig spoke on the "Objective Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus" at Yale University.

Dr. Craig is one of the leading theologians and defenders of Jesus' resurrection, demonstrating the veracity of his divinity. This is the biggest claim in history!

After the lecture, Dr Craig had a lengthy question and answer time with students from Yale. In this video, Dr Craig shares his personal testimony of how he became a follower of Jesus Christ.

James Mitchell Tour is an American chemist and nanotechnologist. He is a Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Materials Science and Nanoengineering at Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Tour was awarded the Royal Society of Chemistry's Centenary Prize for innovations in materials chemistry with applications in medicine and nanotechnology.[49]
Tour was inducted into the National Academy of Inventors in 2015.[50][51] [52]

He was named among "The 50 most Influential Scientists in the World Today" by TheBestSchools.org in 2014.[53]

Tour was named "Scientist of the Year" by R&D Magazine in 2013.[54] Tour won the ACS Nano Lectureship Award from the American Chemical Society in 2012.
Tour was ranked one of the top 10 chemists in the world over the past decade by Thomson Reuters in 2009.

That year, he was also made a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

In 2005, Tour's journal article "Directional Control in Thermally Driven Single-Molecule Nanocars" was ranked the Most Accessed Journal Article by the American Chemical Society.[55]

Tour has twice won the George R. Brown Award for Superior Teaching at Rice University in 2007 and 2012.

In 2016, Tour was listed as an ISI highly cited researcher.[56]

Tour became a born-again Christian in his first year at Syracuse[35] and identifies as a Messianic Jew.

During his college years, James realized that his sin was separating him from God, so he decided to accept the sacrifice Jesus made for him.
Today he is an accomplished scientist, but he gives all the credit to his Messiah!

moving away from the polished Nashville sound and toward a more raw, introspective style. During the 1970s, he also embarked on a successful career as a Hollywood actor.

Kris Kristofferson Opens Up About The ‘Profound Religious Experience’ That Inspired ‘Why Me’

In 1973, Kris Kristofferson topped the country charts with the biggest song of his career, “Why Me”.

What information only the creator would know can be found in the bible that has been affirmed by modern science?

The universe is in a constant state of change, creating and destroying, where is the design?

Life on our planet has evolved relative to the conditions which allow species to survive, leaving those who cannot adapt to become extinct.

What laws of mathematics are defined in the bible?

What is called evidence relating to a supernatural God being found in the bible requires one to simply believe it is evidence as it cannot possibly be proven true, and most believers I've ever spoken with seem to be more focused on hope of a life after death, and probably have more reason to repent relative to how they live than most atheists I know.

God created the universe and all life.
The universe and life exists.
Therefore God exists.

Everything that exists was created by nature.
Nature couldn't exist until God created it.
Who created God?
God always existed.

God or Nature. Choose one.
How large is an infinite amount of nothing?

This thread is about people who had found their own personal evidence for GOD.

Let me just take you to the thread where-in we can discuss those that you brought up:

Many Christians had turned away from God.
Many more, will!

That's prophesied in the BIBLE too!
Biblical prophecy......................... being fulfilled!

Thank you for bringing that up!
Will add that to the EVIDENCES!

If you want to go on with your list of apostate from Christianity - do your own thread.
Maybe we can even discuss..................................... THE REASON WHY THEY LEFT CHRISTIANITY!
In your own thread.

Notify me when you'd created that thread.
Will meet you there.

This thread is for those who have found their own personal proof.

Let's get back on topic.

I'm typing this slowly to help you understand: This is a debate forum. Threads are for debate. Threads are not billboards for proselytizing. If you post a thread, expect people to express different points of view.

This thread is about people who had found their own personal evidence for GOD.

Let me just take you to the thread where-in we can discuss those that you brought up:

The theology forum would be a better choice if you don't want or can't answer questions about your claims.

A bunch of claims is not evidence let alone proof

The theology forum would be a better choice if you don't want or can't answer questions about your claims.

It isn't a question of can't, or won't answer.
It's the matter of derailing the thread, which in some cases, is an intentional case of baiting and trolling.

The OP explains the purpose for this thread.
I answered your post in the thread that's appropriate for it.

Again, your argument is off-topic.
You are derailing my thread.

A bunch of claims is not evidence let alone proof

Not to you.

But to the person who was converted by it...................... it is!

That's why he got converted!

I don't know what's so difficult to understand by that.
So I'm assuming that you have not really read the OP.

That's the whole point of this thread. READ THE OP.
Look at the TITLE!
Can't get any clearer than that.

Now, let's get back on topic.

Which is WHY I suggested it should be in the theology forum, where the rules would protect it from skeptics.

The first two sentences in your OP are IMO equivalent to baiting and trolling in this forum.

Which is WHY I suggested it should be in the theology forum, where the rules would protect it from skeptics.

You can be a skeptic.
I'm not saying you can't respond.

BUT,

be on-topic!

I'm scratching my head here, wondering why some folks here seem to be bent on giving irrelevant stuffs...........even after it's shown to them why it's irrelevant.

Surely, if you got something on-topic or relevant, you would be giving it.......................won't you?

Unless someone doesn't understand the meaning of relevance........................or, couldn't tell what is relevant or not.
That's a dead giveaway that the subject is way over someone's head!
Should we even consider the opinion of such poster in a heavy subject like Religion, Belief or Theology?

Like I've said many times: we are defined by what we post.

Okay, if you got something relevant to say about personal experience mentioned here.........................let's hear it.

None of what you list is "proof", it's just you believing it is. It appears to be enough for you, but none of it even is worth my own consideration.

Posts are not irrelevant because they express a different opinion.

Skeptics always demand from a believer, "show me proof!"

And I'm saying you haven't provided proof. In fact, no one has ever presented proof the God exists. It's cute that you think you'll be the first.

And the believer would respond, by providing a plethora of evidence:

Testimonials are not evidence in any scientific sense.
