The Trump Bible is Blasphemy

yeah, it's not the rapes and the lying and the hypocrisy.

young people are smarter and more savvy than a lot of older people. hell, they can even spot spam and criminals.

Your point?

i am not pushing any corrupt side.

which corrupt side are you pushing?
I'm on the side where Christians don't cover up rapes in churches and don't constantly lie and support the worst people among us.

And it's really not hard at all.

you are on the right track with this.

a principle in psychology suggests that most people will go along to get along even though they know what is being Promoted to be Immoral and wrong.

i need to look that up, but only 25% of the psych students surveyed even made it thru the simple honesty test.

so don't hold your breath on the church or anyone else living up to your high standards of morality and honesty.

a book that gets into this, kinda turned me around from my basic church indoctrination...

life in the Son small.webp...available at Amazon, a revised updated edition coming out June 18 but worth every penny. get a used copy for starts. Shank paid a high price for his honesty with the Bible and got kicked out of church and bible college job.

he is now on Golden Avenue, with no regrets.

And it's really not hard at all.

actually it is hard; done right, all of Life is hard. it pays off sometimes in this life, however the Real Reward is in the next life

.

What Christian, wouldn't be on the side of righteousness?
I think, many Christians were aghast and angry over the rapes in churches.

Christians shouldn't be afraid, or cowed, from pointing out the error in one's perception, either.
Especially in a forum.
In this case - the comparison you made of Graham's statement to both Clinton and Trump.

What Christian, wouldn't be on the side of righteousness?
The ones who constantly ignore the rapes in churches and don't scream about it.

What do you think?

My (politically conservative, likely trump-voter) pastor said this in Church when it was announced, and told the congregation that if any had ordered one, to return it. I was proud of him and grateful to belong to a church where the leadership could differentiate between the lesser things like Politics and the far, far greater things like Fidelity to the Lord.
