The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans


I would think in a rational world, you’d need to consult first with the people involved in that classified material- give them notice that it’s not classified anymore before you reveal it publicly.

And as the brilliant @Visbek points out- if he posted it on X, there’s just no way that would not be considered a breach of classified material.


The material on her emails is not known to us. It could all have been her own.
But, you seem to subscribe to his theory that he declassifies stuff at will, so the act of taking it was totally legal and he could have photocopied the Taiwanese defense plans and handed it out to the Chinese if he felt like it, without telling anyone else.
 
Even if it is within his authority, using it in such a manner would show extreme incompetence and warrant a firing on the grounds he is unfit.

But we knew he was unfit at the confirmation.

Musk still can't find the Pentagon leakers of the Xi-Musk-Hegseth ordered presentation to Musk of the US War Plan against the CCP-PRC. Musk went nuclear ballistic when the unannounced and madhouse session was killed off because the fact of it was leaked in advance to the loyalist NYT ha.

Musk with Hegseth has had uniformed Pentagon staff and chiefs taking polygraph explorations but nothing's come up given Pentagon security is doing the polygraphs, asking the questions and interpreting the results. Indeed, have no doubt Pentagon Security belongs to the Good Guys.

So it's Sgt. Schultz time at the Pentagon -- nobody knows nuting.

As I've posted elsewhere, the leak that decapitated the presentation of the super top secret War Plan against China to the psycho Musk was undoubtedly a covert intercept operation by the Joint Chiefs who also undoubtedly left no trace of it for the enemy to find.

The enemy. Musk and Hegseth.

Speaking of which Musk is spinning his wheels a lot lately innhe. I would suggest Trump appoint Musk ambassador to his native South Africa from where he can move on to Mars. The sooner the better in fact. Take Trump with him.
 
And if you were included in the highly classified national security chat about the ongoing attack against the Houthis in their lair you would have accepted Hegseth including the "Houthi leadership" in the chat. The "way you think the information should be handled" as per Hegseth who is in authority as the OCA.

After all and as your post makes perfectly and dogmatically clear, Hegseth is the OCA which means he has the authority to include the "Houthi leadership." This is all you say about Hegseth's authority which means this is all you need to know to submit to it absolutely and without question or hesitation.

So by your military morality, ethics and code, and Hegseth being the Original Classifying Authority, he must be accepted in anything Hegseth decides to say and do about a super high confidential aspect of military operations which is the ongoing attack in progress.

Authority per se must be obeyed no matter. And incredibly, by your post there is no matter.

Your Argument From Authority fails however due to the egregious inability to see the major and absurd flaws to it that were rejected at Nurenberg and by the Laws of War. And by the UCMJ.

Nobel laureate Paul Krugman joined other economists Thursday in delivering some harsh words
for President Donald Trump’s shifting tariff policies and those who think he’s doing a good job.

“Anyone sounding the all-clear on tariffs, or Trump economic policy in general, should be kept
away from sharp objects and banned from operating heavy machinery,” Krugman, one of the
country’s top economists, wrote in a Substack post titled “Trump Is Stupid, Erratic & weak.

It’s foolish to think Trump’s pivot on tariffs yesterday ― when he announced he was now putting
a 10% tariff on every country and a 125% tariff on China for the next 90 days ― has actually
improved anything, Krugman said. We’re “still at risk of a major financial crisis” he said, and the
rest of the world “now knows that Trump is weak as well as erratic.”
