So Musk is stepping back more fully into Tesla, leaving DOGE. Operation complete.

Well, wait a minute. Not so much.

He came in talking TWO TRILLION in cuts. Well thank God that wasn’t the case but it dies mean his $160B falls far short of that.

But wait another minute. It it really $160B, because anyone with any business smarts knows the real meat and potatoes isn’t this cursory number but the TCO. The total cost of what it means to own something. Our ownership of DOGE is $135B and maybe a lot more. You see when you add up the lost productivity, the cost of having to shut down things then ramp them back up, and other such bits of business DOGE has been an expensive proposition.

That’s not counting the loss of US prestige, our good will, reputation among our allies and world standing.

Nor does it count the cost of all these law suits not yet settled caused by DOGE. That $135B could go way up. DOGE may end up not only not saving us any money. It could cost the US taxpayer in the end.

You know who made money and other stuff on DOGE? Elon Musk.

Three law suits filed by US government regulatory agencies against Musk’s companies, dropped. Regulatory oversight, cancelled. $300M in new government contracts.

Yeah, Musk did real good.

Suckers… you got played.

$160 billion in 100 days is a massive success.

Except to those leftist defenders of the bureaucratic state .

Were you listening.

That’s $160B minus at least $135B, plus additional actual hard dollars not yet factored in.

Now add the loss of international prestige. Our world standing. God forbid it costs the loss of the dollar being the staple of international business transactions. That would be extraordinarily expensive.

You guys just don’t get it. This is going to end up a NET LOSS.

The left hates America, they're actually happy about that.

It's been on a slow decline for about three decades, and it will most likely continue.

So it's just like everything else the government does.

Post proof that "the left....[is] actually happy about" the loss of international standing.

Copies and pastes of excerpts from credible sources to which you post the links.

Good luck. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to substantiate your statement in Post #6.

"US prestige, our good will, reputation" are we talking about USAID? Because killing the woke infested USAID raised our worldwide prestige.

The left hates America, they're actually happy about that.

I doubt you are right but this is Trump causing this. Now, Trump is NOT a conservative. He’s not anything but pro Trump. However he is acting as an agent of chaos under the a Republican brand. He’s damaging the respectability of a party I use to call my own.

I don’t think most folks are dumb. I think many are ill informed. If folks can’t see, with how he’s publicly treated his wives, the number of people he’s hurt with his various acts of fraud, what kind of person Trump is that leaves me with only two ways to see it;

1) they are that dumb.

2) they actually do know who and what he is and don’t care.

So who hates America? Left leaners or folks who know a very bad person when they see one and make him leader of America anyway. You really have to hate your country to make such a unrespectable, unethical person of such low character its President.

It's been on a slow decline for about three decades, and it will most likely continue.

God help us if it does. It the reason we haven’t experienced inflation at levels the rest of the first world has. Those dollars circulating around the world. The second that stops all those dollars come back home and the dollar devalues, inflation goes way up.

So it's just like everything else the government does.

This is on purpose and someone is profiting. It’s criminal. It offends every fiber of the retired detective writing this.

Nor does it count the cost of all these law suits not yet settled caused by DOGE. That $135B could go way up.

Adding the lawsuits....the costs to the government would probably end up around $200B-$250B

Does this include the new layers of bureaucracy added by the DOGE crap? I posted a news piece that a farm agency has to get approval from 2 separate individual sections, one being an agency's DOGE turd, for loans over a certain amount.
