The supposed shooter was just a patsy!

True. Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to say that MAGAs need their conspiracy theories.
The reason I said "everybody" is because it seems to me that Dems gobbled up all the bullshit Russian collusion and golden showers stuff.

From Newsweek, a 2021 opinion piece:

You see, it's not just the GOP that has a problem with conspiracy kooks. The Democratic Party is full of them too—and they've got the reins of power now. Consider that Rep. Maxine Waters, who now chairs an important congressional committee, was first heard of across America when she accused the CIA of being behind the crack epidemic in the nation's inner cities.

...Remember all the things the Democrats said about the Trump campaign colluding with the Russians and the allegations contained in the Steele dossier. They didn't remain inside the confines of cyberspace; no, they became front-page news and were treated seriously for months until poof, nothing.

...It's undeniable, as historian Richard Hofstadter famously wrote back in 1964, that there is a "paranoid style in American politics." What he and others miss is that it's not confined to the Right. It's at least as prevalent on the Left, if not stronger. The difference is that while the GOP's crazy sometimes becomes unpleasant, the Left's progressive crazy sometimes becomes law, which is much harder for all of us to deal with. If you doubt me, read the text of H.R. 1 closely.

Not as black or white as the perspective in the opinion piece you excerpted,

Meh.................. a lot of your crazy leftists are saying it's a false flag situation conjured up by Trump.

Meh, a lot of your crazy right-wingers are saying it’s a deep state plot orchestrated by the FBI.

Oh looky looky! Another crazy maga conspiracy theory! I wonder how much money Mayorkas and Cheatle paid this quiet tortured young man to commit suicide by SS? PLEASE!
When they hired the kid they told him after the shooting to drop gun and surrender. They would arrest him. Hold a fake trial, then ship him off to that island in the Indian Ocean to hang with Jim Croce and Jimmy Hoffa

Of course they planned to shoot him all along.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣this is one of the funniest threads ever.😎

that's because Conspiracy is real, evil is real and conspiracies are Organized evil.

it really is that simple and historically conspiracy has been around for a long time.

conspiracy has been around for a long time and explains a lot of the evil we see. the management of this board must think so too, cause we have a separate area to put our opinions of this in.

The gunman who nearly killed former President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month used encrypted messaging accounts on multiple platforms based in Belgium, New Zealand and Germany, according to a House representative appointed to a congressional task force investigating the assassination attempt.

So you didn't read the Senate Report (by a Senate controlled by R's)?
"Far from a hoax, as the president so often claimed, the report reveals how the Trump campaign willingly engaged with Russian operatives implementing the influence effort. For instance, the report exposes interactions and information exchanged between Russian intelligence officer Konstantin Kilimnik and then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. According to the report, campaign figures “presented attractive targets for foreign influence, creating notable counterintelligence vulnerabilities.” (Manafort was later convicted of tax and bank fraud.)"

I'm looking forward to your source that shows the pee tape is false. It has never been repudiated.

He was an overachiever.

So this guy in Xitter has a decent sized following. His conspiracy theory is that it was an inside job carried out by the snipers that were in the building. The kid on the roof was just a patsy.

His initial tweet has 2.9k comments,14k reposts, 43k likes, and over 6M views.

I think I debunked him taking 5 minutes so we'll see if anyone notices.

As you can see from the photo, there are no windows visible through the crowd at an elevated level. There are fixed glass windows on that side of the building but they aren't visible through the crowd.

Critique(s)?
