'Chinese spy mayor' wanted by Philippines arrested​


Apparentlyn involved in serious criminal activities including running a scam center and human trafficking. She was the mayor of a small town, claiming to have grown up on a farm in the area to a Chinese father and Filipina mother, but her story doesn't add up. Instead Philippine authorities think she is a Chinese national named Guo Hua Ping, and is a accused of espionage and cover for criminal gangs. When the authorities started to look into her actions in July she bailed, and apparently was hiding in Indonesia, where she now has been arrested.
