The stories become endless as authoritarianism grows, including deportations

So the Biden Admin locks this guy up (after overstaying his visa and being involved in some sort police activity), and he is released by the Trump Administration.

Assaulting an officer is far less than overstaying a visa? Making stuff up always results in pretzel logic.
Slapping a cop in Mexico will probably get you years in prison.

Here it's a simple assault charge and you will probably be released the same day.

Now ask yourself why people immigrate here instead of stopping in Mexico?

It's because Mexico doesn't tolerate it.

Mercy. Why do you bother?

Mexico will imprison people for months for overstaying a visa?
They will imprison people for far less than that.
I don’t believe you.
Go over the border and slap a cop.

Pretzel logic. Batshit meandering nonsensical made-up bullshit.

Great song though.

I think the GOP is at a point where the safety and security, the well-being of this country and its people are side-show issues only.

I think the GOP anticipates holding a monopoly on Federal power for a long time forward.
I hope you are wrong.

As do I.

Good, get them out if they don't follow the rules.

They didn't get him out. He tried to leave.

Try overstaying your visa in Ireland and see what they do but I guess it's only bad when the US does it.

I'm sure they wouldn't keep you in a prison with bad conditions for about 100 days for overstaying a tourist visa three days. But I've yet to see your posts have honesty to not make things up.

No, it's worse than that. Their agenda is in conflict with the interests of the people.

They will try, it's clear.

They are losing elections, and that will continue.

Your tax dollars at work. But of course, if they were really going after waste, how much does it cost to keep the guy locked up for months? He was transported from facility to facility. More wasted money. It would have been cheaper to deport him at the earliest opportunity and spend no more money on him. Somebody call doge on them.

Filling the pockets of Trump's donors at the expense of innocent people, democracy and the American tax payers.

That people are now being detained simply because they use their right to free speech.
