Withholding this expansion of Medicaid has dire consequences for lower income people. So much so people die because of lack of coverage. This is sickening. A hard working mother with 3 jobs trying to make ends meet dies because of pitty politics from the right. Sickening.

She had a heart condition for years. It affected all 3 of her pregnancies. She had (among other problems) pulmonary stenosis, sepsis from tooth decay and fibromyalgia. She split from her husband in 2009, and prior to that had insurance. She tried to sign up for Obamacare through the exchanges but found out her $9000 a year income put her in the gap.

Her problems existed long before Rick Scott said he didn't want to expand Medicaid in his state.
