Friends star Matthew Perry died at his home in California after an apparent drowning on Saturday. The 54-year-old actor was reportedly found unresponsive at the property after emergency services responded to calls for a possible cardiac arrest on Saturday afternoon. Perry had reportedly played a two-hour game of Pickleball earlier in the day, before sending his assistant out on an errand. When the assistant returned, Perry was said to be unresponsive in his hot tub. Medics attempted a "water rescue" but efforts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene in an apparent drowning, without being taken to hospital.
