Revealed after 32 years: The 'most spectacular UFO photo ever captured'. The photograph, taken by two young chefs on August 4, 1990, has been hidden from view for more than 30 years.

The full size image is in the article:

After reading the article, seeing the military style aircraft (of the period) that circled the UFO and that the MOD wanted all they took from the photographers sealed until 2076, I lean towards an early version of what is being called the Aurora. It fits with the SR71 being responsible for many UFO reports before it's existence became public.

That said, if the Aurora can hover silently and and then shoot vertically out of sight without a sound then I have to question that we have something that can do that now then alone in 1990. If we do have that, we sure have been wasting a lot of money on other aircraft. JMO

If aliens have visited us and made no provable contact, then the latter is the best outcome. We've still got ****ing QAnon. We aren't fit for alien visitors. At best, let a sane leader know "be back later... "

But no, that photo is not in the least convincing.

EDIT: it just me or is the same very faint cloud-darkening pattern similar/same around the two craft?

If the object in the background is an airplane the thing in foreground is about the size of a serving platter. My guess is it's a newspaper in the wind.

Couple things.

1. If that's military aircraft, it's very outdated for the 90s. Looks more like a mig from the 70s.

2. The saucer is identical to the one depicted in the poster in Fox Mulders office from the show X Files.

In the background, we can see a regular plane. In the foreground, there's an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, which has obviously mistaken Earth for Endor.

Like I said, if it is real it is most likely an Aurora type if craft, I did not say nor do I think it was made off world.

Remember this was just outside the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland, it would most likely not be a US style craft. As far as being "identical" to the Mulder poster, nope, take a better look at both.

That's quite possible. Plus it was a conveniently cloudy day which makes outlines harder to decipher and also> Who was shooting black and white film
in the 90's ?

I think it's a fake and I don't find it very interesting to boot. I've seen way better pictures from sources like NASA, the phoenix lights and roswell. I would bet my bottom dollar those military folks back then absolutely knew the difference between something from another planet or wherever and a weather balloon.

Way too much stuff on video from around the world to insist we are alone in my opinion. Hysteria doesn't show up on film.

But thanks for the effort.
