America's Intellectual No-Fly Zone
From left to right, from Chomsky to Carlson, war-skeptical voices are being denounced at levels not seen since Iraq https://taibbi.substack.com/p/ameri...e?r=5mz1&s=w&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Derp.whiny right winger. YOu know everything you believe is complete bullshit, so whine about fake news and bias. You don't have the right to lie and pretend its the truth. And as typical, completely bastardize what free speech means. Same pathetic tired nonsense reiterated over and over and constantly proven to complete nonsense. Anyway, troll away, its all you know how to do
Sorry you people don't care about facts and every one of your shitty beliefs is wrong, and you people are always on the wrong side of history no matter how much you act like terrorists
"THE MEDIA IS AGAINST FREE SPEECH"
According to the BLS there are, in National estimates for News Analysts, Reporters, and Journalists, aka MEDIA, 39,080 of them in our country working under the auspices of the First Amendment.
Now, if you would, please name any single member of that cadre of MEDIA and post their statement that they are AGAINST FREE SPEECH.
Thanks in advance.

"First, Mr. Agrawal must restore trust in the site by better policing misinformation spread by politicians and celebrities,"
Good job!"For democracy to survive, we need more content moderation, not less." - Washington Post columnist Max Boot
You're welcome.
He was speaking of a privately owned venue, where as one should know to not expect the FREE SPEECH guaranteed by the First Amendment.I am frightened by the impact on society and politics if Elon Musk acquires Twitter. He seems to believe that on social media anything goes. For democracy to survive, we need more content moderation, not less.
Why are you whining about free speech as a member of this forum? You don't have free speech here.
The problem the media has with what Elon Musk is doing, is that he wants to let people have free speech.
Manufacturing Consent
Another one!New York Times editorial board member Greg Bensinger
Like I posted recently I received a 1000 year ban at another similar venue where many of their most popular threads were all about R-wingers getting their "free speech" violated on social media platforms. Why are you whining about free speech as a member of this forum? You don't have free speech here.
Respect for having the strength of character to admit it.Another one!
Love it when I challenge and I get a response, even if I get proven wrong!
Thanks.Respect for having the strength of character to admit it.
It's a rare quality here.

Right winger? I'm Liberal. And, Jimmy Dore is an avowed Socialist, and was formerly a member of the Young Turks broadcast. He's no right winger. Did you watch his video?whiny right winger. Considering, to my knowledge, most major media entities have "content" and or "editorial boards" and have had such for decades and decades, in essence these "content" and or "editorial boards" working as in house censorship staffs, picking and choosing that which will be allowed to be aired or printed and censoring which will not; I would have to agree with you. What are you on about? I'm starting a thread discussing how the major media is against free speech and in favor of censorship.
Uh oh. Someone still pissed the fat orange king was tossed.
The problem the media has with what Elon Musk is doing, is that he wants to let people have free speech.
Manufacturing Consent
He broke the rules my friend. You can whine about it all you want. There are rules. There are rules here - you break them, you get tossed. Please do cease your incessant whining and deal with it.Wokesters support the freedom to agree with them.
Anyone else should be forced to shut up.
If you agree with MSNBC or the New York Times, you may express your opinion.,
Otherwise, you are expected to keep your mouth shut.
In the coming decades, as this nation changes, Americans will be as censored as the Chinese, the Russians, the Iranians, etc., are now.
Did you watch the video? He starts with showing MSNBC hosts saying exactly that free speech is dangerous."THE MEDIA IS AGAINST FREE SPEECH"

No, they are in favor of allowing social media platforms to regulate speech. Like Debate Politics does. What are you on about? I'm starting a thread discussing how the major media is against free speech and in favor of censorship.
Nazis and communists have freedom of speech, and the ACLU has even fought to protect it, a la National Socialist Party v City of Skokie. Look it up. It'll be an education for you. And Yates v United States upheld the first amendment right of communists to advocate their ideas. As horrible as Nazis and communists are, they both have freedom of speech.Corporations do not have to grant anyone free speech access to their platforms. The government can and does control some forms of free speech. We are learning once again that certain forms of free speech can be dangerous to the nation and its people. We learned it in the 30s and we are learning it again via Russia's propaganda machine today. The rise of Fox and right wing media has turned into a monster that could eat its own if left unchecked. As with Nazis and communists, a nation has the right and the duty to protect itself from propaganda.
That isn't what they're in favor of. If Musk bought it, social media platforms would still be "able" to regulate speech. What they are objecting to is the notion that a Musk owned Twitter would instead CHOOSE NOT TO DO SO. That's a big difference, dontcha think? No, they are in favor of allowing social media platforms to regulate speech. Like Debate Politics does.
