Trump had a very long Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 8/26, which is very unusual.
Trump has not spoken publicly for six days, which is very unusual.
 
He's self-conscious about his appearance. The more people see the bruising, the swelling, the skin tone, etc, the more they talk about it.

It is. If he is quiet tomorrow when people are back to work it will be noteable. Busy, busy month ahead.

From the admittedly blurry photos, it looks like he's lost his hair too! It's usually sticking out the back of his cap.
