Solar eclipses of all kinds happen more frequently than one might think. NASA breaks down the math to about 2,380 solar eclipses of all kinds every 1,000 years — or roughly 2-3 solar eclipses each year. For total solar eclipses, where the moon completely covers the sun, it works out to two eclipses every three years.

To say that we are experiencing a major rapturous event when we see one is pure POPPYCOCK! The truth is most total eclipses happen over our vast oceans often and no one gets to see them.

No. The forty day clock starts NOW!

Though, I am not sure if we are to be raptured on the 40th day or after 40 days and 40 nights. That would take us to about Memorial Day. A nice long weekend is just right for a rapture.

It won't be until the Tuesday after Memorial day that you will know if God took Bill from accounting or Mary from marketing. Then again, I doubt many in marketing are eligible for rapture.

It takes a certain kind of presumption (or idiocy?) to believe that a particular day is portentous solely because a something that happens ~twice a year happens to be taking place in the central United States this year.

We were close to ground zero, I was underwhelmed. I knew we were outside but the reports said 98% for where we were., I hoped it meant darkness of that much as well. It didn't. Next time I'll bother to go to the spot despite the terrible congestion and see if it's better. Did get a good look at the eclipse through the special glasses, but the darkness factor never materialized despite an almost complete covering. Oh well.

the Eclipse was a Special Blessing for my family; we enjoyed the day together. my son played some music outside today.

The way the media was going to town on it was very ominous sounding. The 'path of totality.'

this is very common in all the churches we attend out here in the Belt. usually we have some kind of fellowship Dinner and gospel or healing meetings to encourage one another.

their is disagreement concerning the Eclipse last Sunday, but they all agreed with me that the Rapture is around the corner. with the Eclipse behind us, we can now encourage everyone to continue to Seek God with all your heart.

you will find him and find the Joy you seek in this Life and the next.
