The dictatorship of Cuba 🇨🇺 says it “uncovered” their citizens being shipped to be mercenaries for putin🇷🇺.

I say - We the West need to up our game , Give Ukraine jets and the very best weapons !

What does this have to do with Cuba, which is what you quoted?

poor Cuba , it was such Great Country before Moscow Stalinist Commies ****ed it up

Of course, the reality is that Cuba is far better off than it was under its pro American tyrant.

LOL, thank you , you made my day

even RT dont go that far

Twitter idiots can’t change the fact Cuba’s way better off than it was under Batista.

you are lying , have you watch this video ?

Nope.

“In a manner that antagonized the Cuban people, the U.S. government used its influence to advance the interests of and increase the profits of the private American companies, which "dominated the island's economy".[44] By the late 1950s, U.S. financial interests owned 90% of Cuban mines, 80% of its public utilities, 50% of its railways, 40% of its sugar production and 25% of its bank deposits—some $1 billion in total.[48]According to historian Louis A. Pérez Jr., author of the book On Becoming Cuban, "Daily life had developed into a relentless degradation, with the complicity of political leaders and public officials who operated at the behest of American interests."[48]

According to historian and author James S. Olson, the U.S. government essentially became a "co-conspirator" in the arrangement because of Batista's strong opposition to communism, which, in the rhetoric of the Cold War, seemed to maintain business stability and a pro-U.S. posture on the island.[9] Thus, in the view of Olson, "The U.S. government had no difficulty in dealing with him, even if he was a hopeless despot."[9] On October 6, 1960, Senator John F. Kennedy, in the midst of his campaign for the U.S. presidency, decried Batista's relationship with the U.S. government and criticized the Eisenhower administration for supporting him:

Fixed.

Castro's communist regime has sent already 14,000 young Cubans, cannon fodder, to Russia that sent them to the front line of the war in Ukraine.
link?

The main “myth” being the idea they were “better off” under their vicious American backed dictator, which is blatantly false.

Sounds like the US shouldn’t have backed vicious tyrants in Cuba and exploited the people there for decades.

Oh, and then not backed outright terrorism against Cuba.

And engaged in a pointless embargo for decades.

Etc.

Cannon folder make in Cuba. The Castroist regime phony propaganda to give appearance they don’t share Russian military values. The regime on shaky ground.

LOL I just saw a report about that. The Cuban men were scammed by Russians who told them they had work for them in Moscow and the pay was great. When they arrived in Russia they were told the truth and that they would be sent to front in Ukraine. Not one of the Cuban men reported for duty either and the Cuban Govt is charging the recruiters with human trafficking. It now appears the Russians are buying men with cash and promises to actually fight in Ukraine. I would be surprised if they have many takers, unless Cubans are clueless about how bad it is to be a Russian soldier in Ukraine.

Deal ‘with the devil’: Meet the Cubans who’ve joined Russia’s war on Ukraine

Recent recruits reveal transcontinental draft effort between the two Cold War allies.

The news of Cuban fighters in Ukraine splashed across global headlines earlier this month when Havana announced it had arrested 17 people for involvement in a human trafficking ring recruiting young men to fight for Russia.

The use of mercenaries is a way used by the Castroist communist regime to pay his debt to countries like Russia that grant credits. The country is bankrupt, it even has to import sugar, since in the last harvest only produce 300,000 metric tons of the 700,000 tons minimum require for consumption. In the decade of 1950 Cuba produced an annual average of 5.6 million MT, equivalent to 25% of the sugar cane in the world. Russia and Cuba have reached an agreement that allows the regime to hold 75% of the soldiers’ income.
