What most people don’t know is that Trump has specifically targeted the destruction of the FBI as we have known since it was founded in 1908. We will look into the appointment heads of the FBI, their fealty to Trump over the law and the attack on the leadership of the FBI that has ever had any role to play in prosecuting Jan 6th criminals or investigating any of Trump’s NY criminal convictions or anybody in the FBI that shows insufficient loyalty in words, deeds, history and attitude. Trump nominated Cash Patel for a reason. He had no credentials for running a large, 38,000-person agency. Previously, he was a staff prosecutor in Florida and the DOJ working as a team member. He then worked as a staff member working for House Member Kevin Nunez. Patel came into Trump’s good graces by his attempts to disrupt the Russian Collusion investigation of Trump’s first administration. Patel’s participation in the destruction of the FBI is evident as events are demonstrating. Patel has: Reduced the qualifications to become an FBI agent from college graduate to a high school graduate or less. Reduced FBI training programs that always required 18 weeks of training to 8 weeks of training. This excludes training on US laws that relate to the behavior of FBI agents. They are firing the FBI’s senior leadership for being insufficiently loyal the President of having ever worked on any of Trump’s and Jan 6th investigations and even those that worked on any of Trump’s first term problems. The FBI is reassigning highly qualified field agents to support ICE. Many are reassigning the joint terrorism task force to help with ICE and the mass deportation policy. The one third of who is left must dedicate their time to helping with the mass deportation. That leaves scattered, unorganized group of agents to “manage” actual national security and criminal prosecutions.

Three fired career FBI agents who were fired by Cash Patel have filed a lawsuit against the DOJ and FBI. What is interesting is the details contained in their lawsuit. The lawsuit filed in Federal Court alleges They are claiming in in their lawsuit against the Trump administration that they were illegally terminated at the direction of the White House for purely political reasons. Patel told one of the agents that his job as FBI director depended on firing agents involved in past investigations of President Trump. Patel allegedly said “he had to fire the people his superiors told him to fire because his ability to keep his own job depended on the removal of the agents who worked on cases involving the president.

The fired agent has long and award-winning careers at the FBI with zero disciplinary records. One of them was the acting FBI director while Patel was in confirmation hearings. All were senior directors. In another quote Patel explained “There was nothing anyone could do about it because the FBI tried to put the President in jail and Trump has not forgotten it.” These summary firings prevent any of the former FBI leaders from collecting their pensions.

The 3 stated “We hope our effort results in protecting others who did no harm and committed no misconduct from wrongful consequences. The American people deserve an FBI made up of professionals who can serve righteously and confidently with no fear of inappropriately applied pressure or wrongful termination. The public's confidence in the FBI hinges on the commitment of every FBI employee, from the newest special agent to the director, to relentlessly adhere to the rule of law without fear or favor. Americans should demand FBI leaders who make decisions based solely on the facts of an investigation and never on the desired outcome of on. We aim to reestablish the highest standards of justice and ensure that every American, particularly those entrusted with the immense authority of federal law enforcement, respects and obeys the law." In their lawsuit they said that when they raised concerns that these actions would rattle rank and file agents, Emil Bove’s response, speaking for the Trump administration, took him by surprise. "Bove stated that the creation of panic and anxiety in the workforce was the intent." The lawsuit alleges There is no doubt that the vindictive punishment of senior FBI agents was intended to bully all FBI agents into total silence and obedience. In another part of their lawsuit, Special Agent Driscoll recounted an interview he had to go through to serve as the interim FBI Director while awaiting Cash Patel’s confirmation. Among the questions: Who did you vote for? Do you agree that the FBI agents who stormed Mara Lago to include the rank-and-file FBI agents should be held accountable? (Stormed Mara Lago??) What are your thoughts on DEI? Have you voted for a Democrat in the last five elections? Driscoll's response was to refuse to answer these questions knowing full well that it is a violation of the Hatch Act that makes it illegal to ask who someone voted for as a question in a job interview.
