When you pray to a statue
When you sacrifice an offering to the earth
When you eat things which was offered to the star
When you cross your hands 3 times before you eat
when you cross your toes 5 times before you sleep
When you inhale and exhale
in timetables of 20 and 5
When you look to the East
When you look to the North Star
When you ask a psychic
When you lay flat on your stomach
when you jump 5 times before you sit
When you wash your dishes a certain way
When you blink your eyes in a certain way
When you do all these things and many many more, you are practicing superstition.
All the demigods of old were such practices. The practices of them all 'attributing' superstitious energies to objects and such which became the 'energy' of that place.
It all resulted from people spending their time practicing superstition.
