The challenge of selling the hoax that is The Global War On Terror.....

It is a full time job, and without the complicit media TPTB would not be able to sell that hoax.

As long as Obama can get away with calling Jihad terror attacks on US and allied targets "setbacks" he will stay the course. You cannot fight sort of a war and expect anything short of sort of not winning it. We heard this same nonsense concerning the "conflict" in Vietnam: we had superior body counts, won (nearly?) every battle and yet never won the war.

The US response to the 9/11/2001 Jihad terror attacks chose to ignore reality and sell the idea that "control", via a temporary military presence, of Afghanistan would somehow stop folks from Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Yemen from ever doing that terror thing again. Even after finding UBL, hiding in plain sight, inside Pakistan we still pay "make nice" money to Pakistan. Nations that harbor terrorists should be considered state sponsors of terror not innocent "victims" in need of US aid. Our military can very effectively kill folks, destroy stuff and occupy territory - it cannot build nations or change ideologies.
