Think about it. They supported it long after many countries abolished it. That's messed up. It's what jesus would want right?

Is it lost on you that if you had been born in the 17 and 1800s you likely would have been pro slavery? Or at the very least been tolerant of slavery? Or are you one of those special people that literally believes if you had been born 22-3 hundred years ago you would have been born with the knowledge of modern society?

BTW...have you EVER engaged in the ongoing slave trade TODAY that impacts 40+ million men, women, and children?

The british banned slavery in 1807. People knew slavery was wrong. The church should have known better.

Perhaps...but you still miss the obvious point. Its idiotic for people in 2023 to point fingers at history. Doing so demonstrates quite clearly the inability ot understanmd that had you been born then, you likely would be the person you bitch and cry about today.

Bad logic. Just because everyone in your time is racist, it doesn't make racism okay.

No one said anything about racism being 'ok'. History is the study of what happened. Historians take into account social norms in understanding the development of people and societies. People like you live in 2023 and piss yourselves over selective periods of history. You piss yourself over slavery in the US...not because you have any interest in the subject or any real empathy for anyone involved but because you believe you can somehow today use the events of sophistry to further an idiotic political agenda. You ignore the global slave trade, you ignore the aboriginal; slave practices that happened long before the introduction of European settlers...hell you even completely ignore the 40 million slaves being held TODAY...

because lets be honest...you dont give a **** about ANY of this. You mindlessly use history to attack people you hate. At the same time you are pissing yourself over the Catholic shiurch, you will ignore the undenoabler FACT that the party you mindlessly support has done more deamage destroyed more black families killed more black people that the Klan ancestry in your parties history could have ever DREAMED of. YOUR party is responsible for the violence, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and every other misery index category in black American communities across the country...and dont only do you not give a **** about the victims...you want MORE of it.

Speaks volumes of you.

All members of the Catholic Church who were responsible for enacting that policy should be severely reprimanded!!!

lol...over 100 years ago...good luck with that...

I learned from you guys. Wasn’t it christians that tried to eradicate other religions first?

I'm not "you guys". I'm an individual. No, I don't think other religions should be eradicated.
