This group is the best of the best. They sing Al Capella and I have never heard any group of singers sing better than these 5.

Here are two of my favorite songs from them, as well as the last one which is the most successful song for them. It is a song sung by them than has been streamed over 430 million times.

I like Pentatonix, a lot. And they are the only live concert I've ever walked out of. That's right. I walked out and got my money back. The sound was so bad I thought my ears were bleeding. I was shocked it was so bad. They are an acapella group for God's sake! How do you **** up the sound with that? Somehow, they did it.

Interesting. But only the last cut was actually acapella. The first two had instrumentation. Also, the personnel in the group were not the same in the three videos. You noticed that, right?

Yes, they have been around for a while and I like much of what I'm heard from them. Only, I thought a cappella was without instrumental accompaniment. Seems I'm hearing some percussion for sure and perhaps something else.

No, there is never instrumentation involved. I have listened to them for 10 years now and never has any instrumentation been used. The Black guy (Kevin Olusola) is the instrumentation they use. He uses something that is called "Beatboxing". Out of his own mouth, he makes it sound like there is music involved.

Here are two videos. The first one explains what beatboxing is and the second one is Kevin doing it with the rest of the group. Beatboxing means totally Al Capella with the instrumentation coming from the mouth and not from an instrument. This is one of the things that makes this group so great...........Kevil Olusola!

Enjoy

The guy with the beard was with them for about 5 years and he left. He was replaced with the second Black guy. Both were/are great singers.

No, it is called beatboxing. See the post I just put up that shows how it is done.

Here is a GREAT example of 40 different instrument sounds that a person can do beatboxing.

My favorites are Hallelujah, Sounds of Silence, and Bohemian Rhapsody.

?? I know what beat boxing is. Watch the first cut again. I saw everyone's mouth, and didn't see any beat boxing going on in that continuous drum riff.
