What do you say is the best and worst book you read in 2024 and why?

I'll answer when I go through my list of read books to find my worst.

I've been reading The Art of the Deal continuously since 2015, especially so in 2024, and have reached chapter 11.

It is the best thing I've ever read.

MAGA.

“North and South” (John Jakes,) was the best, I don’t have a worst. If a book doesn’t grab me in the first few chapters, I move on.

I read 98 books this year.

My favorite books of the year were:
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brian Sanderson
The Teacher by Freida McFadden
Dial A for Aunties by Jessie Q. Sutanto
Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher
Alone With You in the Ether by Olivie Blake < this was the best book I read this year.

My least favorite books were:
The Confidence of Wildflowers by Micalea Smeltzer
November 9th by Colleen Hoover << this was the worst. So dumb.

Holy cannoli!

How many were about China?

“I've read hundreds of books about China over the decades. I know the Chinese. I've made a lot of money with the Chinese. I understand the Chinese mind.”
