He never once named a name or asked for anyone to be prosecuted.

Neither he, nor the GOP ever offered any sort of reform legislation to curb the power of this “swamp”.

One 'issue', I suppose, is with its weakness in the face of a concerted move toward totalitarianism by one of our [unspecified] major political parties. This was tangentially addressed in, for reference, Federalist Paper # 10 and others. [Ed.: Just substitute 'party' for 'faction' when reading.] While specifics were given for other problems which the Constitution was designed to solve, this was not. The best that could be offered was that the politicians who entered high office would be men of good will with the welfare of the nation as their highest goal.

As we have seen, and I'll not bore you with examples, some of those in high office are only too eager and able to subvert the Constitution to ends other than that which is best for the nation.

I agree with you. trump found every loophole to circumvent both his duty and the constitution. That's the only good thing trump did - show us where to shore up rules to prevent the trump type of abuse of presidential power.

Trump you showed us just how much harm a president can do while in office.
