A small single-engine plane crashed into a building in Northwest Austin Thursday morning, sparking a fire.
The crash happened near MoPac and Highway 183.
Smoke could be scene pouring from the a building in the Echelon complex on traffic cameras and in photosgraphs send in by KVUE viewers and reporters.
KVUE’s Noelle Newton reports most of the windows are blown out. People were evacuated. There is so far no word on how many people have been injured. A witness told KVUE that it didn't appear the plane was having any trouble before it crashed.
Firefighters say they have made several rescues, but so far two people are unaccounted for.
Officials say an FBI field office is housed in the complex, but it was not hit. They say this appears to be accidental.

Accidental? Not far from Fort Hood? CNN seems to have made it a mere sidenote that the FBI is housed in this complex, which doesn't seem such a sidenote to me.
Terrorist attack?
Early reports that the building housed the FBI field office in Austin later turned out not to be true. An FBI spokesman told Fox News that the FBI office in Austin is near where the plane crashed, but not in the same building
The FBI spokesman also told Fox News that as of 10:30 a.m. local time. there was nothing to indicate that this targeted the FBI or that the crash was terrorism-related.
"The building lies along a flight path," the spokesman said, so right now it looks like an "accident."

Small engine planes crash all the time. It seems like an ineffective terrorist method to crash one into a building, hardly on par to the 911 attacks
What does Fort Hood have to do with this? Are you suggesting that because a crazy man shot people at Fort Hood that it increases the chance this is an intentional attack? Guilty by proximity?

Paranoia will destroy ya'. Fact is, at this time, there are no facts surrounding the crash, other than it was a crash. Let's wait for more information to come in before speculating on why it happened.
I'm with you. But tell me that's not the first thing you thought of.
Communists!!! They're EVERYWHERE!!!!
Oh wait, we're on terrorists now, right?
Fox News reports the NTSB says the pilot set his own house ablaze then piloted the plane into the office building which also houses the IRS office.

^^^When the suspect was brown and muslim conservatives couldn't jump on the terrorism angle fast enough.
So it was intentional.
I bet Fox News never brings up the terrorism angle. Wish I had a live stream for them.
